I retired a year and a half ago from grooming for 25 yrs. I own a professional Clipper Vac thats around $1200. It's heavy. I didn't want to keep pulling it out to groom my schnauzer. I thought I'd give this a try because at $59 I figured if it didn't work that well and wasn't easy set up I could just send it back. I was happily surprised that it works great. It's quite ( My professional one is really pretty loud). It has 3 settings for speed. Low. Medium and high. I got to work on my Schnauzer. He came out pretty good . I didn't bathe him first because I just wanted to see how it worked but I do recommend bathing first. It'll make the blade last longer. Dirty coats dull the blade.Plus a groomer looks a whole lot better on a clean coat. I did order a set of 3 extra blades for $15 and some change just to have them. So all in all for a home groom this unit is really pretty nice. Clean up was a breeze. I'm going to use it on my friends Maltese too, so I definitely didn't want to drag my professional one over to her house.

I'll be honest - I didn't expect much from this item but I was curious. Well - it is amazing! I have always had poodles or poodle mixes as pets so no shedding. I decided to foster and 2 littles puppies stole my heart but they both shed like crazy. I was at my wit's end trying to keep up with it and decided to try out some anti-shedding shampoo and this vacuum. Haven't used the shampoo yet but tried this as soon as it arrived. The absolutely do not notice the soft noise and enjoy the grooming. When their turn is over, they actually come back and lay down to do it again. Highly recommended!The trimmer attachment works great. It is very sharp and with the vacuum pulling the hair upright, trimming is a breeze. Love it.

The second it was delivered, we put it to use. We have a Aussie and he doesn’t prefer going to a groomer. I have always done it myself, and I finally invested in one of these beauties. All i can say is, WOW. He looks two years younger. The noise of the vacuum never bothered him. All the attachments are perfect. And the size of it is so convenient especially if i had to move it around! Super easy to clean and I was able to groom him so much faster than I normally did! Highly recommend this!

It was 90 degrees outside and my neighbors dog was curled up in a little ball trying to stay in the shade. Her hair was everywhere and even just walking across her porch my pants would get covered in white fluff. I reached down to pet this little cutie and when I pulled my hand away it looked like I was wearing a mitten. That night I went home and purchased the FIXR grooming kit.Let me tell you! We filled the canister 8 times over the next two days. This is a dog that doesn't like noises, is afraid of the vacuum cleaner, and will not cooperate at the groomer. It isn't that this is a quiet cleaner but I think the sound is more like a fan than a vacuum so it didn't bother her. After the first few swipes she settled in and enjoyed the moderately warm process. The attachments are strong, easy to hold and we were quite surprised by how they fit together with ease and strength. I am happy to report that there is no longer hair all over me when I go visit my neighbor.

This product is legit!! I have a poodle and a schnauzer and when I tell you it did the job, it did the job! They had cookaburs and mattes all in their hair from running in the woods on the farm and it groomed them with no problems at all! Well worth the $$$ wish I had took a before and after pic.

I have a miniature Goldendoodle whose hair need to be groomed at least once a month. I groom his hair at home, but the cleaning process was always my headache. This product did a great job to not make a mess. Also I liked that the blade didn't get hot while I was using it so I didn't have to worry about his skin getting burned. It shaves his hair well - since it's almost summer time and he loves swimming, I used 3mm for his body and legs, 9mm for his ears, and 24mm for his tail. Of course a regular hair clipper trims the hair length more evenly and it'd look a little better than the result by this product though I shave his hair only summer time and I took the option of saving my time from cleaning up his hair.

The vacuum suction works fine, but the clipper blade is poorly made—the top blade is uneven and wavy. It left my pet’s hair choppy and uneven. I expected a polished cut with minimal touch-up but ended up spending more time blending with scissors than I do with my old clipper.

Product comes with all the parts. Machine isn’t loud which helps my dog maintain calm. Love how all of the hair is kept inside the container making it easy to throw out once you’re done. I’ve used it a couple of times now and haven’t had any issues. I like how the product doesn’t feel cheap. It’s easy to use, you just press the button to unplug the hair clip and attach a different one. Overall satisfied with the product.
