I love these bright, cheerful little mats so much, I ordered them twice and may yet again, to give them away. They make fantastic gifts because they’re inexpensive and unbelievably handy. Cooks still dealing with cloth potholders or mitts or even thicker silicone mats don’t know what they’re missing. These are light, completely flexible, very easy to handle and clean, and very bright colored so I can find them without a lot of trouble. I clean them with a tiny squirt of Dawn, just scrub them together on both sides, and even greasy substances wash right out.I am a naturally awkward person, dropping things, knocking stuff off counters and tables, and piling up papers I'm too busy or too lazy to file or put away. I move too fast most of the time, and unfortunately, I'm also elderly, so my sense of touch and the movements and flexibility of my hands are hampered by age and arthritis. We older souls have to be extremely, even hyper-cautious, around the heat of range burners, and particularly, ovens and their blazing-hot racks. Real danger is right there, so I arm myself with the mats in both hands.When I mentioned piles of papers, I wasn't kidding. I can toss a couple of these bright silicone mats here and there on the couch, or work table, side, dining, or computer table. They will anchor things like a cookbook, a magazine, an ash tray, paper clips, a mug of coffee, whatever. They will even anchor piles of paper from other piles of paper.My complete delight with the colorful little mats is that they keep my phone from sliding off my night table. And I have an iPad with a case so slick I can drop it in a nanosecond. I put a silicone mat under it, and the iPad goes NOWHERE. This is a great product!

Better than ever expected i use these a lot more than i ever thought i would. Saves your counter. I also use them to take pans out of oven.

Use these all the time on my kitchen counter when putting hot food down. Not as thick as I would have liked but they do okay.

They’re a little more awkward to use and they don’t have as much insulating power as a decent fabric pot holder. But, they clean up more easily (typically a rinse in the sink) and they don’t lose their insulating power when wet.Plus they have cheerful colors.

I like the quality, size and thickness. Good for keeping hot items off and away from surfaces.

Love these so much. They are great for outdoor grilling/smoking. You can also wash them right in your sink.

A bit small but works well with hot pots and lid openings.
