Makita should rebrand this as OEM
I wished Makita made a 120V inverter one could use with LXT batteries in case of emergencies. Not anymore - this power inverter is that good. It already got a good use during a power outage. It features low battery and overload protection. It also tells you how much power is being consumed. There is even a flash light. The only downside, USB-C will not charge a laptop. It does fine running 5V Eero wi-fi routers and charging phones. It will not operate a coffee maker or dishwasher disposal. All those things are a given. You can get about an hour of fridge uptime on a set of 2 batteries.

Doesn’t work
I received it a couple of months ago, but didn’t try to use it until today. It won’t turn on, doesn’t light up, and won’t charge anything. The batteries are fully charged, and it simply doesn’t work. Broken.

Good but Not Great
This is a functional power bank for low power items like cell phones, tablets and probably some computers, but this could not power my small coffee pot as the description had stated, nor an electric tea kettle (the latter being understandable, but the small coffee pot not so much). For low power items it can work fine, but I was left underwhelmed with the experience.I would say that if you are looking for a power bank for your electronic devices, this is a good bet for you. But if you are looking for something to run smaller appliances, you may be left disappointed.

Brilliant device.
Bought this device to provide 12 volt backup power for my electric cooler. Cooler usually uses a 60 watt solar panel and a 12 volt AGM battery. A cloudy day could run the AGM battery low. Tested it with my 12 volt cooler, easily ran the cooler all day with 4, 5ah batteries.

Massive Voltage drop with 1/2 of rated load
Load meter did not work on first one I received. 2nd unit test results were Voltage drops to 80vdc under 150w load (half its rated output). Garbage, I'm afraid.

Works great, simple functionality.
Great way to have emergency power utilizing the batteries I already own. Works with both my off brand and genuine Makita batteries. You are able to use different amp hour batteries together. The constant power display lets you know exactly how much you are drawing.
