Fab alternative!
Allowed me to cook a vegan Thai dish with fantastic results. Definitely recommend and will top up once I run out.

Versatile sauce with a surprising application that works very well
I'm not a vegan or a vegetarian but I have found in the past when shellfish lacks strength of flavour when it should taste of the sea, the fishy-ness can be greatly enhanced by sprinkling this sea-weed based sauce onto say thawed prawns especially the large jumbo ones that seem to be less shellfish tasting than smaller prawns. A dash of this does the trick. A bottle lasts a good long time.

Adds the flavour thats been missing
Adds depth to my thai curries, as a vegetarian I cant vouch how close it is to original fish sauce, but it gets me closer to the flavour of the veggie curries I had in Thailand

Is it Soy or fish, not sure?
Now being vegetarian I have no idea what fish sauce tastes like. But if the answer is Soy sauce then this fits the bill. But I have my doubts.
