Doesn't Work Through Brick Walls
This DOES NOT work if there are a couple of brick walls between the transmitter and reciever. It was very quick and easy to setup but I couldn't get any picture on the remote TV. The sound quality was very good but the screen just displayed 'NOT SUPPORTED'. I contacted Marmitek who recommended changing the sound setting on my set-top box from multichannel to stereo. I wasn't convinced this would have any bearing on the video signal and guess what, it didn't. What it did do was to reduce the quality of the sound on the remote TV.If you have partition walls or if you want to use it upstairs and there is only wooden beams and plasterboard, this will probably work fine but any brickwork seems to stop it from working. This is the second one I've tried, hopefully, it will be third time lucky.

Perfect solution to adding a remote extension to Sky Q
My elderly Father has Sky Q and wanted it in an extra room, but a Sky Q Mini Box requires a broadband connection which he does not have nor need.Sky Q boxes no longer have the old RF Out that Sky+ boxes had, and IR over HMDI is quite possible but a bit untidy and it's hard to install an HDMI cable to link two devices due the bulk of HMDI connectors. These two little boxes appear to work faultlessly, transmitting an HD HDMI signal to a 2nd telly. Obviously you can only watch one programme at a time but for his uses it's perfect. There is no obvious degradation from the HDMI pass through on the transmitting unit. Not cheap, but a breeze to set up and highly recommend so far.

Hopeless, but brilliant...
When working this was brilliant. The picture was superb, the remote worked wonderfully well, controlling my PVR really well. The trouble was... I only needed to get a signal from one adjacent room, through one wall, to the next. Total distance? Two - three metres at most. Yet at this distance, the picture would be lost every two - three minutes leaving a blank screen on the receiving TV for thirty seconds or more while a connection was re-established. I tried moving the TX and RX as close as I could get them (with a wall in between) and yet with them as close as one metre, the picture continued to break up. Hopeless. Returned for credit. I think I'll have to get another DVB-T2 modulator that connects with real wires.

It works with picture transfer
It does not enable change of programme from transmitter to receiver.

It only lasted 3 years
The extender has worked for 3 years to extend the HDMI signal from my living room to a TV in the kitchen. Signal going through 2 brick walls working ok most of the times. Recently the receiver unit in the kitchen has broken down, the Output keeps turning on and off (the LED changes from blue to red every few seconds) making the TV unusable as the video and audio signal is intermittent. Try watching a movie which interrupts the sound and image every 5 seconds...nightmare.

Brilliant but can be difficult to set up when source is an AV Receiver
Overall a great product. I bought it (last week) based on the reviews here and am very happy with it so far. As has been previously mentioned it's a breeze to set up - except when the source is an AV receiver. Once I figured out to take the HDMI Out from the Receiver into the TV Anywhere and then plug an additional cable from the TV Anywhere to the main TV I thought I had it cracked. Everything at the source worked fine. Come to the second TV in the kitchen, all the lights on the TVA box were lit correctly, turn on the TV and a beautiful HD picture from my Sky box in the living room but no sound. Troubleshooting per the manual led me to select 2ch stereo on the AV receiver but still no sound. After 1 1/2 hours going through every menu on every box, I finally found a sound setting on the AV Receiver that indicated an HDMI TV port was disabled. Once I enabled it, boom, the audio was banging in to the kitchen TV.Haven't yet connected up the IR remote control which I suspect might be a bit tricky on a sky box but will have a go this coming weekend.Albeit a bit awkward to set this gizmo up on my kit, the results are stunning compared with my old video sender equipment, several years old now and I really cant fault the TV Anywhere video and audio quality in any way.

Excellent and easy to set up
I previously purchased Marmitek,s HDTV Anywhere which uses the mains to transmit an existing HDTV signal to another room. I was very disappointed that this did not work because of a clash with a WIFI extender that also uses the mains. So, I thought I would try this wireless version. It was very easy to set up and it works brilliantly! The HDTV signal is successfully transmitted from one room, through two internal walls to another room on the same floor. One of the internal walls is a brick wall and the other is a plasterboard stud wall.

Do not buy !!!
I bought this to replace another different extender which recently failed. It’s easy to useSignal seems strong when working ok but I am now getting sporadic shutdown of the transmitting box. Which means the main tv screen and the remote go blank for upwards of 2 or 3 minutes and often a lot more whilst it reboots itself..UpdateA few months on and this unit is fit only for the bin with the shutdowns becoming more and more frequent (several times in a day)This is a definite do not buy productThis item was eventually replaced by amazon with an identical model, guess what, nearly a year on and this one has suddenly stopped working too
