Nice quality and good value, I'm getting a couple more.

Sometimes lower cost handles don't grab the blade precisely so it is either loose, or is hard to snap in and out. This one holds blades securely without wobble.I use scalpel baldes for hobby purposes and a lot of the time you want to rotate the blade as you are cutting. A round handle like this is handier for that than the typical flat sided surgical handle.

I ordered two handles and fit blades to them both, satisfactorily. I like it. I figured that I should say so, since others complained of loose fit. I’d order this if you need a round handle and then, if you receive a poorly fitting item, consider it a sample defect: return it for a replacement.

Autoclaved once and started to rust. Dubious of actually "stainless steel"Beyond that works well in the hand, well balanced.I don't think I'll return it, but I don't think I"ll buy one again either.

I purchased this item in hopes of assisting in scoring more detailed designs in my sourdough bread. I found it too difficult to put the blades on without fear of slicing myself. Im not a surgeon, so maybe there is a trick to putting the baldes on, but looking at videos and searching the internet did not help.
