The quality of these dehydrated carrots is surprisingly great!
I can't tell you how good these diced carrots are.We use them to supplement our sports dog's diet when we are on the road. It's an important strategy to keeping our dog healthy while competing .It is very convenient to travel with these dehydrated carrot chips. They rehydrate without being slimy. They are practically like a fresh carrot when rehydrated. Amazing quality!I don't camp but if I ever did I would bring these along for humans too.

Good Product at Decent Price
It's a good product for my needs at a somewhat reasonable price. I use it for soups, etc. and I cook small amounts of it to add to m three big dogs' food, and they like it. However, it's a lot of carrots and it needs to be used within 12 months, according to the specs, so I'm not sure I'll use it all in time.

24 carrot gold !
. . . Many more than 24 carrots, actually. This is a L-A-R-G-E can of finely diced carrots, very well dehydrated. I powder them in my coffee grinder, mix with dehydrated bell peppers from the same source that I grind the same way, and keep a jar filled with the powdered mixture. It really works, so gets added by the heaping tablespoon into sauces, soups, dressings, scrambled eggs and omelets, pastas, and anywhere I want to add a natural veggie bump to whatever I'm making. You could use it, with or without the bell peppers, in carrot cake, meatloaf, smoothies, you name it. It incorporates and rehydrates perfectly in every dish every time.Pre-soaking is absolutely unnecessary; in fact, it absorbs a bit of liquid in anything I want to make less soupy or runny, so it's a convenient, flavorful, and nutritious way to thicken any dish. All this with zero peeling, chopping, or trim to discard, and no space-wasting, fast-wilting bunches of carrots in the vegetable bins. I think you'll appreciate saving the money, too.The can comes with a plastic lid that you use after you open the standard metal lid; there are a few desiccant packs mixed in which I keep right there in the can until empty. This stuff lasts forever at room temp without going bad, but you'll use it up and reorder long before that. I never want to be without it.

Dehydrated Carrots
Loved they were from the US. They plump up fast and are sweet. I used them in my vegetable soup. Easy to store and had a 1 year shelf life after opening. Recommend!

Thumbs up!
This was my first purchase of these carrot dices. I have used them in a couple soups, stews, chili, and now have added them to a batch of mac and cheese. The taste is bright and fresh even amongst other flavors, and the texture of the pieces is pleasantly firm and fresh (not mushy). I am so glad that I gave these a try, and you get A LOT for your buck. A cheap and easy way to add some nutrition, flavor and color to home cooked meals.Usage:If I know that a soup or stew is going to simmer for a bit, I add the freeze dried veggies directly into the pot - you may need to add a bit of extra water to compensate what they will absorb. If I'm adding the veggies to an already cooked dish (like mac and cheese) I presoak them in a dish with boiling water for at least an hour prior. I use a glass food storage container and snap the lid on., then drain out any excess water (observe safe food handling and don't let sit for more than two hours). If you use freeze dried ingredients often, it is handy to have an electric kettle that boils water quickly.
