TOPENSA5JB Arm Actuator of TOPENS Automatic Swing Gate Opener for Replacement

I installed a Topens A-3 gate opener in 2020 on a temporary gate. It worked well but in 2022 I installed a more attractive gate and in the process discovered I needed a heavier duty Topens Arm, so I ordered the A-5.As in many DIY projects things did not work exactly as I planned but Chelsey of Customer Support addressed my problems, even responding on weekends. Once all of my problems had been addressed the gate now works better than when I had originally installed it. Thanks to Chelsey for fast responses, the clear instructions, and crystal-clear graphics which made the adjustments easy.

It worked good, Although the product only lasted about 13 months, it was easy to replace. Tech support was prompt and helpful.I suggest purchasing a warranty.

Was easy to install all parts for installation was included. instructions and installation was easy to follow programming was easy to.service and delivery was very good. We had to have a part exchanged and it's was a easy and hassle free experience. Zach did an amazing job of providing complete and good customer service during the exchange

Substandard product. Gate opens on its own, had to replace the motherboard after three months, one of the arms came apart and bent the screw drive-whole unit had to be replaced. Would not purchase Topens products again.

I purchased a Topens system and after a year one of the actuators went out. The customer care rep was very patient with me for it took several days and a few emails back and forth to diagnose the problem. In the end the end the product was out of warranty but Topens gave me a really nice discount on a new control arm.

These are great but don’t last very long. This is around 4th or 5th replacement. One day they just stop opening all the way. You can pull the pin and screw it back where it’s supposed to be. After a few days it’s doing the same thing. But I love the convenience of using a clicker to open and close, but you always need to make sure it’s all the way open before you step on the gas. Because it’s already installed and wired, it’s just easier to replace. Maybe one day will get a better set up, but for now, this is it

We used the Topens A5S gate opener for use on our main entry gate, although the first one installed broke down after 11 months we received 2nd to none customer service, replacement parts arrived in days and we Up and opening in no time thank you Chloe and Topens.

Actuator arm motor failed it seized, I asked Topens for a replacement arm and they went out their way to find one for me I ordered it and they reimbursed me the amount. Great service and technical advise.
