My Grandmother has a blood issue that causes her to bruise easily and get frequent nosebleeds, her doctor said to eat more dark leafy greens to get more vitamin K, but she doesn’t eat nearly enough to make a difference. I have researched a lot of vitamin K and most seem to offer 100mcg, this is ten times that at 1,000mcg (micrograms) or 1mg (milligrams) This has made a world of difference in my grandmother’s bleeding and bruising. She still bruises, but not nearly as bad, and she has not had a nose bleed in several weeks (she used to get two or more in a week) Vitamin K is a fat soluble vitamin, so you must take it with fat to assist with absorption. My Grandmother has a webbed esophagus and cannot swallow pills, so I open the capsule up and put the powder in about two ounces of coconut milk (this contains the fat to help with absorption) I give her one capsule per day, and this bottle contains 50. Very reasonable priced and contains almost two month’s worth. I usually buy two bottles at a time. If you are having similar problems you may find that this high dose vitamin K will help you as well, just be sure to check with your Doctor, we got the go-ahead from my Grandmother’s Doctor. This vitamin k is awesome! It's vegetable capsules so yay, no animal gelatin! I started taking this near the end of my pregnancy and have taken it ever since. My baby did not need a shot, and I had little fear of her needing one (even though there was much fear-mongering surrounding her birth) based on faith and ncbi articles/websites supporting supplementation before birth and after in breast-feeding mothers. Also, I feel like it helps with healing, especially bones. My foot was fractured and while taking this (amongst other things) at high doses (2-6 capsules/day), it seemed to aid in the rapid and smooth healing. I would recommend this product thus far. If that changes, I will update accordingly!

Vitamin K1 is essential for bone support and also for blood clotting. Many of us do not get enough vitamin K due to poor diets. I have ACLL, a chronic form of leukemia, and my blood does not clot properly. I discussed Vitamin K with my doctor, and he highly recommended it.
