Beka Chef Stainless Steel Frying pan 26 cm

Excellent pan, weighty, riveted handle, good heat distribution and easy to clean. This pan will last. There is no lid included, if you look at the description from Beka the frying pan is part of a range and the lid that is mentioned is clearly shown on the saucepans and saute pan (not the frying pans). Price is still good value as I won't be needing to replace it, like with cheaper non-stick pans in the past. You can also season the pan to make it non-stick if required, I haven't done that yet and have not had any problems. Size wise I bought the 28cm pan, this gives an internal diameter at the top of 26cm, the cooking area diameter of 21cm and internal depth of 5cm. The 2cm difference between the two top diameters is because this pan has a pouring lip around it, another nice feature. Would happily recommend this pan, have used it every day so far and no nasty, toxic coatings on it.

This is one of the best pans I've ever used. I did crêpes, eggs nothing stuck!One session of crêpes, lightly brushed the pan with oil, ONCE, and evetryone of them turn out beautifully.The secret is to preheat the pan before using and them lightly brushing with your oil of preference and cook away.That's it!

I have recently had to throw out 2 non-stick frying pans - so was looking for the Perfect pan. This one not really too expensive; the stainless steel is solid in the hand, quite heavy, but heats up quickly, and is in regular use. If you do catch the bottom, a soak in hot soapy water makes it very easy to clean, preferable to a non-stick surface which can easily get scratched. Also it goes in the oven - I've just made a Tarte Tatin in mine. I could easily see when the fruit sugar and butter went golden brown, time to fit the pastry on top, bake it, and turning it out when that was done was a dream. I also have the smaller size, bought in France 25 years ago, not a mark on it - brilliant.

I absolutely loved the way it warmed up fast, fried without any stains on the metal or food sticking onto the surface of it, or any concerns about a non stick layering that could affect your food or increase toxicity. Perfect size for cooking for one meal, small enough to fit in any space and dishwasher too.Cleaned super easy with warm water and soap. No stains, no issues.I have thought better to dry immediately with cotton towel, as our tap water is too reach in calcium and it would stain the pan if I let it dry naturally.Absolutely delighted and hope it will last long.

No lid as per description. I went back and forth with Amazon over this products. I initially contacted them and they assured me this product comes with a lid but it arrived with none. I was so unhappy and still the discription hasn’t been updated. I have contacted consumer protection as this is a rip off.
