The book is great and arrived in perfect condition but for some reason it took a week longer to arrive. I doubt it is the seller's fault, but it is a great book for any dog owner.

I bought this book for my dad when his Dane of nine years was put to sleep. The book carries a powerful message for dog lovers, and gives a sense of peace and reassurance: Yes, our dogs will go to heaven. Yes, there is meaning to their lives. More importantly, it reminds us what dogs really do for us, that they save us, forgive us, and teach us to love - And this book reminds us that when we do lose them, we shouldn't be afraid to do so again.The first half of the book covers Stephen's work on the Dog Chapel, which is absolutely amazing, beautiful, and worth the money even without the second part. The second part I mentioned above makes this a must-have for any dog lover.

We recently unexpectedly lost the last of the three dogs we had while my children were growing up. My college aged daughter was devastated over the lose of her special (and sometimes wicked)dog, and grieved for a long time. I purchased this at the request of a friend. Simple for any age to understand, but it helped immensely. The information about the Dog Chapel was amazing. Thank you!

Stephen Huneck has left a wonderful gift behind when he passed. He was a great dog person and that is reflected in his work. His books are a must for anyone who ever loved a dog. Simple yet meaningful, Even Bad Dogs Go to Heaven is his second book about his creation - Dog Mountain where he built his Dog Chapel.

This is a really nice gift for someone who has lost their best friend. The first part of the book is about the Dog Chapel in Vermont, and then there is a nice story that will make you laugh and cry.

Huneck had a way of getting to the essence of labrador retrievers. His illustrations all deserve framing.This book would make a wonderful gift to any of your friends who loves their dog.

Illustrations wonderfully appealing to all ages; a greatbook for consolation or sweet humor for children or/and adults. Just gave each of my adult children a copy to share with their families.
