Little Explorers: Dinosaurs

My daughter loves dinosaurs and she is fascinated by this book. We have learned a lot and its been a great experience for her. However, I feel that the content might be a bit rough for a little kid. My daughter is under 5. Some dinosaurs are describes as "killing machines" which is a bit scary and unnecessary. I don't read that part to her, but perhaps in a future version, I would change the verbiage. THat's the only reason I took a star away. I would recommend the Smithsonian Kids dinosaur book. The narrative is more kid friendly.

We love love love these books. The Little Explorer books are full of info, are digestible, and are made interesting with all the flaps to open. I would suggest only reading a couple of pages at a time. It's not so much a story as it is a learning tool.My 5 year old loves them and constantly asks for more books.

Really informative and fun! I actually learned a lot. It’s advanced for my 2.5 year old, but he likes the pics and flaps and it’s helpling me prepare for when he starts to ask more questions about dinosaurs. So much has changed in the past 30 years.

My grandsons loved this book. Perfect for them and they are 4 & 5 years old.

My son loves this book and now beats me to the type of dinosaur we are talking about.

We love this set of books.

We bought this book, a little nervous that it might be a little to advanced for our two-year old son. Boy were we wrong. He loved lifting-the-flaps and learning about the dinosaurs - and I learned so much too! Amazing book, great quality (it withstood my son's aggressive pulls) and super educational (for kids and adults!).
