I ordered a pair of these try out the brand. I am glad that I looked at the size chart. Do not order based on what your normally wear. Look at the size chart and order based on that.They are comfortable and the fit was perfect. They are made of mostly viscose which is a cotton substitute. That does not really affect the comfort or the fit, but the material does wrinkle.A big plus is that the pockets are deep. Less chance of something falling out. Shallow pockets are a pet peeve for me. Just a personal preference.The draw strings have enough length that that can easily be tightened and have enough string to hold onto to tie a good knot.

Comfy and lightweight shorts. Fits as expected. Will consider getting another color as well! Great casual wear; good for lounging or even as a running short. Recommend!

I ordered these COOFANDY men’s linen shorts as I have other pieces of COOFANDY clothing and have been impressed with their quality. The shorts are made of linen, while they are attractive looking, they do wrinkle easily, and the fabric is not the softest feel against your skin. I ordered light Khaki shorts, and the color was just as advertised. The tie strings have an interesting assortment of wooden beads that look cool. I do wish the inseam was a little shorter as I prefer shorts that fall mid-thigh, and these fell just above my knees. These shorts are nice looking causal shorts that you could wear out to dinner.

Looking for a pair of non-gym style vacation shorts? These could fit the bill.These shorts are what one would consider causal "beachwear". A good alternative to swim shorts.- They are a linen-style material (somewhat rough and easily wrinkled) and non-lined.- The tie-string is on the outside, rather than the conventional interior approach, though most of the time your shirt will cover the strings if you don't care for that look.- The rear pocket is a bit flimsy and not very deep so it's probably not ideal for anything but a small wallet.- They fit well (the large size fits my 38" waistline)Because the fabric is a bit thin and the rear pocket is not all that well designed, I'm dinging this product 1 star.

Not the greatest quality shorts I've ever seen, the material is pretty thin. So thin in fact, that putting these up to light will show the light through them, making them slightly see-through, making them not the greatest to wear to any sort of formal occasion. They aren't crazy see-through mind you, but its still enough that I wouldn't probably use them for anything more than casual beach shorts. They are comfortable enough though, and definitely breathable. Probably wouldn't recommend, I'd go with something higher quality, and less transparent.

I own quite a few different kinds of shorts from COOFANDY, and I always like their shorts. This pair is no exception, as it's another winner. The fabric is 70% Viscose and 30% Linen. Viscose is made of wood pulp or other plant sources and is sometimes used to substitute for cotton. Linen is made from the flax plant. This fabric is of medium thickness and has a slightly stiff formal feeling, the way linen often feels. The fabric feels substantial and the tailoring and cut is comfortable.The 2 side pockets are nice and deep, and I love the extra, extra long front drawstring. (Super short drawstrings drive me nuts, as they are impossible to tie, but there is absolutely no problem having enough drawstring to tie with these shorts. It's the longest drawstring I've ever seen in my life, and I love it.)This is a nice looking and high quality pair of shorts, and I definitely recommend them.

These were the most casual shorts I ever wore. There is no fly in the front, drawstring waist, 2 patch pockets in front, 1 patch pocket on right rear. I don’t know if the drawstring is unusually long because I ordered one size too large, but I will need to use some scissors to remove about 4” from either side of the drawstring, as the 4 beads could cause some unintended pain. The brown patch on the right thigh serves no esthetic or functional purpose.I found the inseam to be a bit short, despite having order one size too large. Overall, a decent pair of casual shorts with a soft fabric.

These were a little bit long at first but I threw them in the dryer for 10 minutes or so and it all worked out. Comfortable and lightweight. Great quality.
