I have given these crosses to our deacons, and to our younger church during a special message. They have always been appreciated.

I am very happy with this cross. It is lovely. The wood is very smooth and soft as butter. It is made from Olive wood which speaks to me as a Christian. There are no sharp spots or corners and the deep curves are smooth and nice. Mine doesn't look like the one in the picture. It is more like a block heart that is wavy to fit the contours of your hand. I would imagine how well it fits your hand, kind of depends on the size of your hand. I have medium sized hands and it fits very well. I hold it when I say my prayers and I hold it even more when I'm worried, anxious or stressed. I have an anxiety disorder and holding this cross and rubbing my fingers on the smooth wood helps ground me and calm me down. I think it is one of the best things I have ever gotten. It is currently priced at $10.99 and I think the pure beauty of this cross and the way it is made is a great value. I would have paid more. I totally recommend.

I had seen these crosses before and know of folks who keep them in their purse or pocket. So I thought I'd get one and it seems to keep my faith first and foremost in my mind when I have this little guy in my hand. I keep it on my desk, where I can see and hold it whenever I like. It's quite comforting, especially to hold while praying. Get one!

Doesn’t fit well in my hand like others I’ve had.

This is a lovely yet simple piece, ideal for those in prayer or meditation. The shape of the warm wood cross fit perfectly in any hand offering comfort. Made of hard Olivewood which was so prevalent in the Bible.The finish is very smooth, beautiful grain, ideal size for any hand.Would make a unique gift for those of faith.

This cross is beautiful. It feels substantial in my hand with no rough edges, very soft and smooth, almost silky feeling with a beautiful wood grain pattern. The description states it is treated with oil, but there is no oily residue whatsoever. I love it.My only (very minor) complaint is that the title states it is olive wood; however, there is no proof of that, and it would be nice to know for certain. That being said, the packaging states that it is made in China, so no one should have any expectations that it is olive wood from the Holy Land. Again, even not knowing if this is true olive wood or not, I'd recommend this cross wholeheartedly.

I also kept one for myself. I fall asleep every night holding it- or with it under my pillow. Everyone was so touched when they received this as a gift for Christmas. They commented on what a unique idea it was- as it's not something they'd buy for themselves or even knew existed. It included a poem explaining the significance of the crucifix, the reason for the design/shape of this one and instructions of how it was design to be held in one's hands. Again, I fall asleep with it every night.

This is a simple item. Not luxurious. Not fancy. Not elaborate. JUST PLAIN SIMPLE like life should be. This was a gift for a family member who spends much of their day bedridden.This fit their hand perfect. The wood is soft and has a warm feeling to it. The shape begs your hand to hold it gently and/or firmly.I think it gives the end user some peace of mind. I believe my grandma would have loved having this. Keeping her hand over her heart with cross in hand.
