Really happy with this. Adds much need stability to my Fuji XM5.

Seems quite robust. Helps my big mitts grip a little camera well. Not too bulky or protruding. Just the job.

I love the red accented shutter button. It looks great in person and feels of good quality. Same can be said about the the thumb grip, looks good and feels of might quality.The only reason I'm knocking a star off is that the hot shoe cover should have had a screw in top to make it more protective.

Perfect fit on my X100v! I've tried cheaper thumbgrips before which didn't fit snuggly. This is a firm fit but also not difficult to remove. It keeps a low profile so the camera still fits into its leather two-piece case. I've put the shutter button on a different camera and again it's not as bulky as some I've tried and abandoned. Excellent products.

This Thumb Grip for the FUJIFILM X-M5 camera (Model No. 4877) arrives in a bubble envelope, with a SmallRig branded label attached. Inside the envelope is a sealed white plastic bag with the thumb grip and shutter release button inside.Both the Thumb Grip and Shutter Release Button are well made, and have a good finish throughout. Made of aluminium alloy, they are also both quite robust, whilst remaining lightweight,I have a lot of Smallrig product and am usually a big fan, but in this case I think they have fallen short of the mark. As other reviewers have commented, whilst the thumb grip works well for improving your grip on the camera, it blocks access to the Q button, and also makes more difficult to turn the rear control dial. And, instead of the top of the grip being flush with the camera, it raises above it slightly.The Shutter Release Button on the other hand is easy to install and works well.In conclusion, whilst these issues with the thumb grip might not be a deal breaker for some, they will be for many. I’m giving this 3 stars because it does function as a thumb grip well, and those who don’t need access to the Q button won’t be so affected by its design. But if you do need that Q button, or like to slide the camera into your pocket, then I would avoid this grip altogether.~ Ethics Statement: Amazon provided me with this product to review and asked in return that I give my honest and impartial opinion about it. + made form high quality materials+ relatively easy installation+ thumb grip improves grip and protects hot shoe+ nice pattern on the top of the hot shoe mount- didn't see a black model, so it's only for silver one- won't look good with black X-M5

I get the issues raised by the other reviewers:+ it is a tight fit in the hot shoe rails - but it needs to be if you want a tight grip on the camera+ It obscures the Quick "Q" button from an easy reach - but then it (1) keeps clear of the AF lock and command dials on the back and (2) I use it to hold one handed once I have set up the shot, so it does't bother me.+ it makes ot harder to slip this into a pocket - but the reason we need a thumb grip is because the finger grip on the front right of the camera is too shallow to give a confident hold on the FUJIFILM X-M5 whithout a thumb grip.I like it: I can shoot one handed with what is a tiny lightweight camera and hold an octabox strobe in the left hand for off-camera lighting. Without this the camera grip is just too small.If you don't like this design - then instead build up the front finger grip on the camera with the "SMALLRIG X-M5 Handgrip L-Shape Grip." which comes in black or silver. Amazon UK sells it for just under £37OVERALL - I like this - and would be happy to get it again.Store Service?
