I really liked this movie. The story and cast were excellent. I’m reviewing for Prime Video not DVD.

Olivia Mead and her classmates have been given an assignment to give oral reports about their impossible Christmas wish. Olivia's wish is for someone else, and she also wants to help other children's wishes come true. Is the run down house in the neighborhood a wishing house? Is it occupied by an angel who will grant these wishes?I've been in the mood to watch Christmas movies and listen to Christmas music for a couple weeks now. I heard about this movie while watching Game Over , an episode of Tia & Tamera on Style Network. I looked forward to seeing it for two reasons: It is a Christmas movie. And watching Tia & Tamera has shown me how hard Tamera has worked to be cast in a television show or movie. When she announced on her reality show that she got the part, I was very happy for her.Christmas Angel cast: Teri Polo (Melinda Mead), Kevin Sorbo (Nathan Davis), Della Reese (Elsie), Tamera Mowry-Housley (Daphney Conroy), Jaiden Kaine (Jeb Conroy), Izabela Vidovic (Olivia Mead), Tyler Humphrey (Lucas Conroy), Lisa Arnold (Mrs. Bell), Rob Boltin (Mr. Brennan), Toby Nichols (Bully). It was nice to see Della Reese after so many years. And child actor Izabela Vidovic - this little lady is talented.It seems most Christmas movies are about Santa and reindeer and elves and magical things. I'm okay with those; I like make believe. Wishes are granted in this movie, but not in any magical way (I'll leave it at that, don't want to tell too much). Christmas Angel is a film I really enjoyed more than most, because characters believed in God. It was nice to see praying at the dinner table and at bedtime and to hear Scripture quoted.My favorite characters: Olivia (She was an intelligent little girl and she made me smile) and Elsie (Her story was interesting and she gave me things to think about).My favorite line: Some things only God can do. Only God knows how to help.Christmas Angel is a good family movie. Yes, there is one child bullying another; however, the way it was done I felt bad for the child being bullied, of course, but I also felt bad for the bully - the reason for his actions is clear. Also, there's a beautiful song playing during the closing credits - Mandisa is singing `Somebody's Angel'. I highly recommend this film!!

My mother and I were so happy to see this arrive today. Especially her since it was a surprise for her. Thank you!

Wonderful family movie—everyone will probably relate to the characters. It invites you to find out the mystery and developing relationships. Kevin Sobo is a good guy in this movie; has an on-going mysterious past; refreshing from his other movies. Teri Polo is delightful! A very good role for her as she is a mom in real life; very believable compassion and carries her own mystery. Love her other family movies. The kids were very good friends who played off one another; true friends no matter what. Children will relate to the story and keep interest. Della Reese carries her strong angel Aura but not overdone; wonderful to weave the movie together. Fantastic movie! A keeper!

Very nice movie to teach kids something more about meaning of Christmas and helping others. Acting is a bit stale but the idea is very good. I can recommend this movie.

I originally chose this particular DVD, because I especially like Kevin Sorbo as an actor. He's been in several "good" Christmas movies. I also really like Della Reese, and Teri Polo.The story was excellent, and so heart-warning. Not fast-moving, but sensitive and genuine. No violence, no bad language, no sexual content .... amazing !!!This DVD is one of the best I have seen, I totally loved it, and would give it more than a 5-star rating, if I could !I would recommend this to anyone, and for sure it is more than 'family-friendly'.Thinking of purchasing this for friends this coming Christmas. A feel-good and delightful movie, thoroughly entertaining. You won't be disappointed.

The Mystery of the "abandoned house" and it's occupant, leads to a learning journey. I really enjoyed this story, it has a very positive message. It is also educational about various issues. Good casting, not the typical Christmas Movie. Good positive message for the whole family.

I am an avid Christmas film fan and most of these are region 1 so I purchased a multi region dvd player so I do not have to keep watching them on sky record .

I thoroughly enjoyed this movie .Good God based movie .Good for a Family to watch .Good sound quality .
