Worth the $$
After buying 2 cases I finally put them on a subscription order. I like them that much. And after trying many other “natural” protein shakes, they all failed in comparison. Yes, they’re pricey, and still have a chalky mouthfeel, but they’re my favorite.

Satisfies hunger and not thick and not sugary
Far and away, the best protein shake for me. I have tried many brands and nutritional levels. This one is satisfying for hunger. Better than others. It stands out. I don't like the plastic bottles! Occasionally I get a cardboard box that leaks but seldom. Very pleased. I have for midnight snacks, long drives, missed meals and snacks. Sometimes 3 a day. As a firefighter, I love these.

Delicious!
For medical reasons, I had to go vegan. On top of this, I also have celiac disease, which means no gluten. Then the addition of side effects from several medically necessary medications causing me nausea and other unpleasantness. This stuff here? Perfect thickness, no additional sugar, packed with nutrients, and a texture that doesn't make me gag. It's also DELICIOUS! I have one every morning, and an hour later I'm able to eat without gagging. I also have one before dinner, reducing my appetite and resulting in no heartburn when I go to bed a couple hours later (up at 5AM, in bed by 9PM). It would be nice if the containers were recyclable. I contacted my local recycling place and inquired about it. Big nope. I also asked my doctor and a nutritionist about these, and they gave the thumbs up. I haven't lost any significant amount of weight since I started drinking these about a month ago, but my body feels better, sleep has improved, and I have more energy through the day.Fun fact: standard cereals are high in carbs, which give a short burst of energy, but will leave you crashing later. You need a breakfast high in protein to get through to lunch without crashing a couple hours after breakfast. Lunch should be your largest meal, also high in protein, for energy and no crashing. Dinner is ideally the lightest meal. Going to bed with a full and heavy stomach is a great way to have horrible heartburn and terrible sleep. Snacking on low-carb foods between meals is also very healthy for you, according to the nutritionist I saw. You can have a high protein diet while vegan. These have more than 30% of the protein most people need per day. Two of these are around 70% of my personal protein needs. If it's in your budget, give these a go. If you don't like them, give them to someone else. Several stores also carry the individual plastic bottle versions in their refrigerated goods section, so grab one of each flavor and see which one you like best.Oh, and these also have a hefty amount of necessary fiber. If your bowels have been less than cooperative in one extreme or the other, fiber will help with that.

Good but something is off
So I bought one in a starbucks and loved it so I went on amazon and was delighted to find these. I bought a 12 pack of vanilla as that is the flavor my H prefers. We like the taste.. more or less vanilla but the downside is that it gave us both intestinal distress and I thought it odd as the one I bought in Starbucks did not do that. Well then I discovered this is different than the ones you find in the store as its the "nutrition" version of their protein drink. Now my bad for not reading more carefully and looking at all the pics amazon posts on the side which clearly lays out the difference but it does not say that in the heading so I just made the wrong assumption that it was the same drink. So Amazon should make that adjustment for future searchers. All that said if it does not bother your stomach its a great product. I will stick to buying the ones in the store which don't have all the vitamins but do have the protein and are good on my stomach.

These Koia Vanilla Bean protein shakes are absolutely amazing—they’ve truly transformed my life! I drink one every morning, and it’s become a staple in my daily routine. I adore the fact that they’re plant-based, extremely clean, and still manage to taste good. This shake has elevated both my mornings and my overall wellness. I’m so thrilled I came across it and can’t wait to restock!

Vanilla chalk
This version does not taste as good as the individually packaged bottles you can buy at the store. It tastes, artificially, sweetened and kind of like a fake birthday cake flavor.

Very tasty
Very nice, especially chilled. The downside is they are expensive and easy to go through quickly, so you have to limit yourself on them, even though they taste so nice you won't want to.

Doesn't taste like the regular koia shakes
I purchased this hoping it would taste like there original protein shakes you get from the refrigerator section. Unfortunately I was very disappointed. Not only does it not taste the same it has a bunch of added vitamins and minerals which I try to stay away from. Unfortunately koia has made these protein shakes just like everyone else. There is a good protein content in each one but they're now Adding a bunch of synthetic stuff to there shakes... I guess it's time to find a new company again if the original ones are no longer available... I wish they left them alone 😔 it's not gritty, which I guess would be the only plus for me as now they have that chemical taste to them 🤔 stick to the original koia shakes! I love the refrigerator ones for the taste, non gritty texture and the 7g of fiber. I also love they don't add the extra stuff into the refrigerator ones. Hope this is helpful to someone.
