A Lot better than I expected.

I was super excited because there were many similar products like this one on Amazon but this one was slightly cheaper and works just as well as the other ones. I've made something similar before with the rope through plant pot/soil so I was aware of how it kind worked and everything. The plant doesn't actually take the water whenever it needs, the water goes in the tray at the bottom and will start to go up towards the plant right away, it doesn't stop until all the water is gone. However, since I was aware of this I was all good with it. If you're planning on going for quite a long time, this may not be the best method since the plants will use up all the water within the first day and then proceed to dry out when no more water is given. The pot itself and the tray attachment at the bottom are great quality no complaints there and it was nice that it can with so many different sizes. Overall pretty happy with the product.

Nice set of pots

These are a cost-effective solution for self-watering plants. I have tried DIY versions in the past, but none have looked more sleek or worked as well.Setting up these self-watering pots is simple. I had them ready to go before I even glanced at the instructions - simply insert the lace into the pot's holes, attach the base, and add the water attachment.All in all, it's a good product that I would recommend. It's been a lifesaver for me as I travel. I no longer need to ask friends or family to pop over to keep the plants watered!

Love these - works great if your plants have deeper established roots. Firstly, these look nice! They’re posher than your ordinary household pot plant with tray. So, that’s half the battle with finding indoor plant pots sorted. Style - 5 stars.Secondly - the trays are nice and deep, the amount of rope provided is generous - so I run the rope along the entire base of these - nice even water draw for my plants.My top tip - if you’re repotting something significantly smaller (with a shallow root - eg: a potted basil from the supermarket), then these wont’ enough. The water draw tends to work for the bottom third of the pot mainly. So, if you have shallow rooted plants you’re putting in these - then you will need to water from the top for a good few months (and don’t forget to loosen the roots a little when repotting) - until some longer roots start to hit the ‘wet zone’.
