This is my first experience of using a 3d scanner and I was pleasantly surprised by its ease of use. I'd put off trying it as technology can sometimes be rather daunting but this was straightforward and well explained.What impressed me initially was the freedom gained from using this model. The wireless capabilities allow you to roam without being connected through cabling to the pc, which has always being restrictive with previous models my partner uses.The level of detail is beyond the current model he uses, this is especially noted at a further range with larger subjects. You still can't get away from the need to use it against a relatively plain background, but this is something experienced users will be aware of.
