Natur Boutique Jiaogulan Tea Sachets, Pack of 3, 60-Count

I've been drinking Jiaogulan for years and have had it from several different vendors and providers. This is nothing at all like Jiaogulan. Everything, and I mean EVERYTHING is off in this tea from every single Jiaogulan tea I've had. This has the wrong colour, wrong aroma and most definitely the wrong taste. Not even remotely close. The ingredients list only Jiaogulan and that is why I bought this tea, but there is certainly something more to this. If I could return this I would but unfortunately have already left the UK and will likely just throw out 3 boxes of this tea. Sad.

It has a slightly liquorice taste, but is very mild and refreshing. I personally brought it because I love drinking tea but suffer with IBS and find normal black tea triggers it. This tea however doesn't, I can drink as much as I like with no ill effects at all. My wife on the other hand wanted me to buy it because of myriad of supposed benefits that drinking this tea has. I cant vouch for any of these, but there are a lot of articles online that rave about them if your interested. What I can say is that even though it is supposedly caffeine free, this tea does give you a wake me up type boost similar to drinking coffee.

Arrived quickly but unfortunately they taste awful. They taste of licorice although I like licorice. I can't even say they would be an acquired taste..

Although the tea seems to contain 100% jiaogulan, the taste is slightly sweet and those who like liquorice should enjoy it a lot. It is also refreshing and revitalising. I like it!
