I suffer from lower back pain and cannot afford a new mattress. I did some research and read reviews on the Novilla 3 inch mattress topper. Received well packed in Amazon external shipping box, with product separately boxed inside. Packed about like you expect a foam mattress topper. No bad smell at all when unpacked, and it expanded fully enough to use the same day. The topper is part memory foam and part normal foam as shown in the listing. It definitely increased the comfort level of the otherwise very cheap full mattress on the bed - I know because I lay down with my kiddos at bedtime and keep them company until they fall asleep. I would definitely say this makes the mattress comfortable enough that I could sleep overnight on it if I needed to, which is something I couldn't say before.The straps hold the mattress in place really well. The fabric shell means the foam isn't likely to get damaged by stretching which is a big risk for other toppers which are just bare foam. I am not concerned it will get dirty as I put the mattress pad we normally use over this topper to cover it and provide additional air circulation.I am satisfied with the topper and consider it a good value for the money.

First of all the memory foam is not 3" it's 1". It's just the way the picture shows not the description. I let it rest for 2 days and it went on OK but after a couple days sleeping on it a big lump in the middle appeared. I tried sleeping in the middle and thought I had it squished down but it came back and now I'm either sleeping uphill or downhill.

Mattress is a bit more comfortable. But my last topper was far better. I'munable to find it again.

This is a very nice mattress topper. I like the corner straps. Nice addition. 3" thickness is plenty for me. Very soft and comfortable. This topper is encased in a fabric cover which is so nice. Keeps dog hair and other stuff from embedding permanently into the foam.Update - after sleeping on this for a week, my back feels so much better. Very very comfortable!

I'll be homest. I really do need a mattress but it did help with the softness of my mattress and some of the dips. But the main thing is you will need DEEP POCKET sheets to keep it from sliding otherwise you will be straightening it every night and it's a little hard to maneuver when your bed is made. King size.
