Bought it for the purpose of a car journey as my battery only lasts about half hour, and it kept full charge for a 6 hour trip. Not used it since but i may not need to, it worked for what i wanted it to.

I have three of these for powering my laptops and monitors off DC in my campervan. One of them stopped working for some reason so I replaced it and haven't had any issues since (have been using them for about 6 months). And because it's regular twin copper cable, it's easy to solder on a different plug, e.g. I use XT90s as they are more compact and secure than cig lighters. I couldn't get it to work with my Dell dock, but I think that's an issue specific to the dock; even a buck converter set to exactly the right voltage wouldn't work.I have only found one other comparable product, and that's got coaxial cable which I wasn't able to get to work with XT90s; it also comes with a C-type connector only, so doesn't work with all devices, whereas this one has loads of adaptors that fit pretty much all monitors and laptops.

Great variety of connectors, the usb outlet is handy, only issue is the tiny status LED, as much as I prefer a discrete power indication, over a lightshow, the green light really is too small.Apart from that, it's great for the job, doesn't get ridiculously hot during operation and the slim round shape is nicer to have than the standard rectangular block, if 4.8 was a rating option, I'd go for that, but the LED is the only shortcoming (longevity? we'll see...).

Works great, and has the USB power connection most don't

It came with a USB C adapter! 5v to 20v 90w! Didnt even buy it for that. So much better than an inverter. Silent, more efficient, will have to keep an eye on the 12v supply, might run it flat. But on the flip side you'll always be able to charge with this, even on a drained battery.

Brilliant bit of kit for on the go working. Purchased whilst camping as our inverter had failed. Was able to get this charger delivered locally to the campsite and charged my laptop on the way back! No difference in charging speed or longevity of battery life compared to my laptop's original charger and It's a sturdy unit with durable cables. Very handy, would highly recommend.

this has been used in stead of a another product that proved unreliablethis worked great form the get go.fit snuggly into the cigarette lighter and connects perfectly with the laptop charged from low battery to full in record time from a 12v battery very happy
