This was purchased for a family member that suffers from anxiety attacks from time-to-time to help keep them grounded. It does the trick for him! The surprising thing is that the entire family loves just cuddling up with “Slothy” to watch television, play video games, do homework or when someone’s not feeling well. Slothy has become the family “woobie”. My daughter just wishes he could be warmed up for tummy aches, and cooled down for migraines and owies.

We purchased this for my son when he was having surgery. He loved it and still sleeps with it every night. The weight brings him so much comfort. It was a great purchase. I did not notice any weird smell as other people pointed out.

This sloth is very comfortable. I bought the medium version and I like to put him on my lap sometimes. I am a 24 year old with lots of anxiety so sometimes I just put him on me and we chill. He is very soft and well made, I would say he is probably 20 inches tall and he is definitely the 25 pound advertised weight.

My fourteen year old has anxiety and had asked for something like this to sleep. She loves it and said she didn’t know they came this big. It was very soft and just heavy enough.

This is so useful in my classroom. My students have named him Odo and he comes apart for easy cleaning.

My new friend! I decided to get a weighted stuffed animal, yes I’m an adult, so what? I have anxiety and heard that weighted stuffed animals are helpful with that, so I decided to get this guy. His name is Monte by the way. He is not only super cute, but he is soft and cuddly too. I love the size of him. He’s perfect for snuggling up with or sitting in my lap while I read. I like the weight best. At first it feels a bit heavy, but it ends up being just right. I haven’t tried to wash him yet, but I like the idea that I can take the inside out and just washed the fur…hmm that’s a little creepy when I put it that way. Anyway, the only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars, is because sometimes the sand or whatever is in it, bunches up in the arms and gets hard and won’t separate. So there will be a big hard clump that I’ll have to work hard to shake apart. Other than that, he’s pretty perfect. I mean just look at that face! His..not mine!
