Just what I was looking for!
Product was used to make my first ever cheesecake, and both the aroma and flavour are absolutely divine! Flavour's quite strong so you could possibly use slightly less than a recipe suggests - always a plus point when we're all trying to economise these days, but this product's very well priced. And what a great range of flavours to choose from! Definately planning to try out a good few more!

Can taste artificial at high doses.
I used this today to make marzipan for a stollen cake and was very careful not to overdo the dosage. I added it in small increments (1/8 tsp at a time) . As I neared the desired taste I could detect it was starting to taste a little chemically and so stopped adding. I would really have liked the almond taste to be a bit stronger but it was OK.When the cake was baked the chemical edge had gone leaving a pleasant, but not really full, almond taste. Having said that, for my first ever try at marzipan, I was quite happy and will use it again. Next time I will be a bit bolder as I feel the baking process does reduce the tendency to taste a little artificial.

Great flavouring, Remember, it is a concentrate!
I have bought one of these before, and it was great, had a lovely almond smell and gave a nice almond flavouring when added.Though this, my second bottle, has a very chemically smell, which transfers somewhat to whichever it is added to, along with the almond flavour.*EDIT*As I have read other comments since posting mine, regarding this being a concentrate, which I didn't know, and judging by my first bottle, never had reason to think about.I have used in a much smaller amount, and the taste is excellent.Read the instructions on the bottle unlike me, as it says, ¼ tsp for every 8oz.

All smell no taste
Such a disappointing product. I bake a lot and despite the bottle advising you to use way less of this product than your recipe requires I haven't found exactly how much MORE I would need before I can taste the almond from this! Great smell in the bottle, but even this is lost when in the food and NO TASTE comes through at all. WASTE OF MONEY. DO NOT BUY.

Perfectly perfect in everyday!
Smelt great..... Great for all home baking... or a tiny amount in coffee if you've run out of your usual, Good emergency substitute.
