Always keep a couple on hand
Since we started the full-time RV lifestyle, I've noticed a huge difference with the water that comes into the RV. It always seems to have an odd odor and taste. I started using water filters, and the quality of the water has improved. I like that this comes with the little hose adapter, so that I don't have to purchase one separately. I highly recommend keeping a couple filters on hand as some seem to stop working. These filters appear to be decent quality. I'll update as time goes on.

Crystal Clear Car Washes
As a devoted car enthusiast who takes pride in a spotless finish, I embarked on a search for a solution that would put an end to the dreaded hard water spots that mar my car's exterior. Enter the inline water filter for garden hoses – a small yet impactful addition that has redefined my car washing routine. One standout feature of this filter is its ability to maintain water flow. Often, filtration systems come at the cost of reduced pressure, but not with this one. The water flows seamlessly, ensuring that my car washing process remains efficient and thorough. What truly sets this filter apart is its knack for combating hard water issues. As water courses through the hose, the filter quietly does its job, stripping away the minerals responsible for those pesky spots. Now, I can confidently wash my car without worrying about the sun's position in the sky.

High flow - clean results
I needed an inline filter for an outdoor fruit/vegetable cleaning station in my garden area, and this product from Better Boat really filled the bill. I am on a well and have a hose routed to an outdoor prep table/sink. Along with cleaning fruit and veggies before bringing them inside, I will also refill my drinking water container occasionally, and wanted to filter the water for particulates and taste (hard water). The filter and flexible hose attachment installed easily, and I flushed the filter for a couple of minutes (as suggested) before hooking it up to the sink. (Carbon came out initially for about 2 seconds, then clear H2O.) This NSF tested/certified filter is high flow, so there is no noticeable restriction in water flow at the sink. The taste of the water is noticeably better, now, and the addition of an anti-kink hose was a welcome bonus. I like supporting American companies, so will buy this again when it is time to replace.

Great in my RV
Peace of mind in my RV. It recommends filter life is 3 months or 1300 gallons. I bought an inexpensive in-line water meter that tells me how many gallons has gone through it. I plan on replacing at 1000 gallons just to be safe since they are relatively inexpensive compared to others that do the same thing. As the instructions (see my two pics) say, this will keep chlorine and other chemicals and particulates out of your RV water system. The price is right, much lower than other similar filters. Simply run water through it for a minute or two to get the loose carbon out, as all filters of this type need before using, and they are ready to go. They come wrapped in shrink wrap plastic, so no worry about contamination between the factory and your RV. There is no appreciable water restriction, it flows fine. I would recommend these filters.

This filter comes with a decal that explains all of the information about the filter.
This filter has a decal that explains how often the filter should be replaced, the flow direction, and the NSF standards that the product was built under. This is a company that comes out of Florida. The filter also shows a temperature range for working pressure, rated capacity, flow rate, and some additional information about filter replacement. The filter has caps for storage and comes with a 6 inch flex hose. The box also contains a small installation instruction leaflet that repeats a lot of the information on the filter, body; but that also shows illustrations for how the filter should be installed. The leaflet also has an FAQ and information about its “substance reduction” that explains what the filter should remove from water. It comes with a 6 inch replacement hose. The information about this product is very clear, the packaging is nice, and it looks like a good quality filter.

Great Value Taste/Smell Hard Water Treatment Filters
These filters are designed for use in Recreational Vehicles to improve taste and smell of hard water. They are rated satisfactory under NSF ANSI Standard 42 for removal of Chlorine, chloramine, particulate, iron, manganese, zinc and total dissolved solids (TDS). They are not designed or intended to remove biological contaminants such as giardia. At 10 5/8 inches long (not including the flexible anti-kink hose adaptor) these filters screw on the female end of a conventional water hose before water is added to your vehicle’s water storage tank. Suggested filter life is 3 months or 1, 350 gallons. I find the Amazon package price of $24 (at time of writing) an excellent value when compared to other providers.U.S. Dollar Bill shown in my photo for sizing comparison.I hope you noted my comments and photo as being helpful in your consideration of this item.

Affordable filtration for your camper/trailer/rv
A good filter with an affordable price. Filter your incoming water for your RV, Trailer, Camper or anywhere you want. Connects to a standard garden hose. Includes a short hose adapter to minimize strain on the filter. We do not drink the water from our trailer so can't confirm if the taste has improved in any way. The water "softness" doesn't seem to have changed in any way. I also do not leave the city water connected to the trailer. So far no issues with connecting or disconnecting from the water supply.

Comparable to name brand filter
I picked these inline water filters up for my next camping season. It's comparable to the name brand filters at half the cost. I figured why not try it. I've also used the Walmart branded filters compared to name brand and don't really notice much of a difference. I never drink the water from the campground so these water filters are primarily for protecting my water lines, water pump and fresh water tank from impurities. Each filter includes a mesh screen and gasket. I won't know how well they seal when hooked up to a water supply until my first camping trip but I'm sure they'll be fine. Always make sure your water pressure regulator is installed prior to your filter to prevent the water pressure from getting above 60psi.
