A great learning puzzle
An interesting concept for the little ones to have some fun, but also although fun is to keep the little ones entertained, it is educational as well. The board carries the planets in order of sequenceThe SunMercuryVenusEarthMarsJupiterSaturnUranusNeptuneThese are all on the planet board. However I am not sure when this game was made, because there are a lot more planets out there which as an update could have been shown. However not necessary as written below why. There are too many planets. For example your child may ask, “where is Pluto?” Pluto was considered a planet to be farthest from the Sun. My only thought is, Pluto wasn’t entered onto the board as it has recently been noted this is actually a dwarf planet as a lot more have been noticed in this same category. An easy rhythm for children to remember the planets, and adults too is… (Rhyme after the Sun)My - MarsVery - VenusExcellent - EarthMum - MercuryJust - JupiterServes - SaturnUs - UranusNoodles - NeptuneSo learning the rhyme will be a learning curve for children too.For toddlers or adults teaching their children a bit of information. Some ask why the moon isn’t part of the Solar system. The easy explanation for this, the moon will not be part of this board because the moon orbits around the earth, and isn’t a planet. The moon although orbits around the earth and not the sun, was first discovered by Scientists. These Scientists didn’t know that there were any other moons in the solar system. The age for this little puzzle is from three years old, however does depend on the child’s ability and how forward their progression is.The object of the puzzle to put the correct planets parts in order, by sliding. No sharp wood parts, no rough edges. As long as your child is able to put their little fingers around the objects, will be fine. The puzzle is only as simple as knowing the order of the planets, so Mums and Dads get learning. The wood is smooth and a natural wood design. 100% non toxic wood and lead free.I love this oblong board and planetsCurrent price at review £12.99I recommend for all children, I remember having to learn the planets at pre school, so this will give your children a heads up.⭐️Thank you to the seller⭐️I hope my review helps you.

Very colourful and sturdy educational toy
I was pleased to test out this product with our 4-year old, as it looked very good and colourful from the photos. The product is good value for money and the colours are very vibrant and it keeps your attention. It's a solid construction and you can easily move the planet pieces into place without any difficulty. There's a good amount of problem solving from moving each piece around the track to move other pieces into place. What could have made it great is the addition of a photo/ picture of the correct sequence stuck onto the back of the board. We are fairly intelligent, but had to Google and check a few of the planets!Another minor point is the spelling of earth without a capital. I'm not sure why that is, but I found it a little bit distracting and it just moved the product from excellent to very good for me.I would still buy it for family and friends who have children, as it would make a lovely gift.

Not into planets, it is okay, will children know which planet is which!?
The media could not be loaded. I had to look at the listing to work out four of the planets, knew the sun, earth, mars, jupiter and saturn the others I didn't. Apparently Pluto, which was regarded as a planet for years, no longer qualifies for planet status, so its absent, which is correct according to my Science minded husband.I have never been that good at the planets, just doesn't float my boat, but it is one of those things some children are very keen on, it's normally planets, dinosaurs, football and vehicles if you are in a Reception Class setting. Always happy to help them follow their interests.Could be given as a gift, personally I would give a construction toy in preference, but it is a nice item and if they were planet bonkers you might like it for them, the decision is yours (line from an 80's show)!

Blast Off to Learning
🌌 With every vibrant piece representing a celestial body - the Sun, Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, and Neptune - it's an absolute delight to see my child's face light up with recognition. The colours are gorgeous, and each planet piece fits nicely into their designated spot, like a cosmic ballet! 🌍🌕 And the most fun bit is arranging the planets in their correct orbits, talk about hands-on learning!🌳 The board is made of smooth, natural wood, which is not just safe for the little ones, but also feels incredibly sturdy and durable. You can tell the toy is crafted to last, with the chunky planet pieces fitting perfectly in my toddler's hands - no BPA, no lead, and no nasty sharp edges to worry about! 🚫💥👩🚀 More than just a toy, it's a tool for learning and development. My little explorer not only gets to practice their fine motor skills, but they're also learning about the unique features of each planet, grasping the concept of size differences, and developing an understanding of how our Solar System works. And don't get me started on the added fun of the sliding astronaut figure – what a giggle! 😂👨🚀🎯Pros: 😊1️⃣ Great value for money2️⃣ Educational & fun3️⃣ Safe & sturdy design4️⃣ Encourages parent-child bondingCons: 🤔1️⃣ No description or colours on the back of the planets to help identify them2️⃣ No representation of the moon or Pluto (but hey, that led to a good chat about why that is!)All in all, it's been a blast! If you're on the hunt for an engaging, educational, and downright fun toy for your little astronaut, this Solar System jigsaw puzzle could be just the ticket. Happy space travels! 🚀🌟
