Another good mortal kombat game, great story and gameplay would recommend to any mortal kombat fans.

Compared to mk11 this feels much faster and the quality has been improved, I like this new story

The MK1 story is excellent, the ending is great fun. I think they really should have the ending unlocked so you can run through it constantly to see how many opponents you can defeat. My one bugbear with Mortal Kombat 1 and the reason I give it three out of five is the invasions. There is a sub game called survival which often leads to an environment that looks like it was programmed during the second week of Java lessons buy a mediocre student and pertains to a fiddly unenjoyable puzzle or some frustrating platforming (fireball dodging). I purchased this game for the 'kombat'. Not platforming. If you like Mini Games of this nature that have little to do with the primary game you will enjoy Invasions. I can't stand them hence the invasions have become meaningless to me. Pity. 3/5
