Does exactly what it is supposed to although it doesn't look like the picture.I can now plug in a wired phone and the base station for 3 wireless phones near the telephone socket in my house. Exactly what I needed it for and it appears to function perfectly.The picture shows the female sockets as being one above the other but the product I received had them parallel to one another. If anything it makes the product better as it is more compact. I would buy this product again if I needed it!!

At £1.14 and free P&P this really can't fail. There are several reasons for requiring a phone line splitter - having a phone either side of a bed, in two locations in a lounge, on two office desks, for a phone and fax using the same line for instance. Mine was for a louder, external ringer due to missing some calls. It's a well made, simple piece of kit I can't find fault with at a bargain price.

This was a trail and see kind of issue. I bought this thinking I could run my internet through on an extension, but it did not work. Nothing wrong with the product, it worked fine with my phone extension and only £1..

BT Telephone Socket Doubler/SplitterI may have already submitted a review for this device. I can't be sure that what I ordered was correct. I wanted to be able to plug a router and a telephone into the single-socketed square box that BT fits when installing a Phone. However, I'm not sure if that would be called a doubler (one into two the same?) or a splitter (one for a phone and a different socket for the router). I wanted the device illustrated and labelled as a "BT Telephone Socket doubler/splitter. In the event, when I got the router box opened an appropriate cable was supplied and so the purchase is irrelevant. Since it was so inexpensive it is hardly worth the return postage and I'm bound to find someone who'll need the device that came. I give 5 stars for delivery promptness. I'm not sure if I need to give myself or Amazon minus five for the device not being what I wanted!

fantastic product for those who need to split their telephone connection. It is incredibly easy to use and simply plugs into the existing BT socket, allowing you to connect two devices at the same time. I highly recommend.

Bought this as I work from home and our house only has one live socket connected to the phone line. After installing it and testing it out, when the house phone rang my Internet would cut off and I would have to restart my computer & internet hub to get Internet working again and for me to log back in to work. Work told me they've seen this problem before and it was always due to these little devises that double up the phone line. I have now had to get rid of it. I unplug my other house phone when I'm about to start work and connect my work phone to the main/ live phone line and change it back when I finish working. A bit annoying but it works. Fast delivery non the less and great service.

After so many nuisance calls, I found a low-cost phone for blocking the phone number of the caller. As I already had a 3-phone system that did not allow call blocking, I used this cheap Telephone Socket Doubler for my main phone in the front room. It feels odd getting two phones ringing at the same time, but it works. I am able to block calls and keep my original phones, so saving money. The perfect solution.
