Great handy mop

Bought this as I had grown frustrated with the scraggly synthetic mop I had been using. Compared to the synthetic mop this is a dream and cleans out troublesome areas as well as corners of the wall with little effort. I can see why some people are upset that it seemingly doesn't wring out as well as a synthetic mop but the material is much thicker and will last longer. Over time as the material breaks down it will wring out more. It is not that difficult to wring out anyways and even if you don't it just leaves the floor slightly wetter so it will take a couple minutes longer to dry. It doesn't leave big pools of liquid or anything. Overall I prefer this much more than synthetic mop head I had been using before. It has much more area and bulk and cleans better.

Who buys mops just in case youmight use one?Now the mop heads, two supplied and really high quality screw on type, same thread as the big brand one that just broke because they use a steel handle that rusts due to contact with water and cleaning chemicals.The handle comes as three aluminium pieces that slot together really frmly, so you get to choose how long it neds to be, and two different coloured caps for the handle end. His and Hers? ;-). That is the only slight niggle, the caps are rather loose fitting, so I added a wrap of insulation tape onto the top of the pole before fitting, now really tight.Brilliant product from a first grade supplier.

Have used mop twice. Both times, there was lots of stray 'yarns' which came out as i was mopping the floor and rinsing the mop- leading to a mild blockage of the plughole. Hopefully this would ease up after a few more uses.A good size head and not too heavy when wet hence makes mopping much easier. Have used lots of 'enhanced/souped up' mops previously bought from supermarkets and they couldn't clean as well so decided to go back to basics and buy a 'traditional' mop, and this has so far worked better (shame about the 'loose' yarns- would have given it 5 stars otherwise)

The handle is in three sections that just push together, as you try to wring out the mop the handle twists! Having said that, with the application of some strong glue the mop works fine. On the plus side, replaceable mop heads and additional mop head supplied make it just about o.k. in terms of value for money. The Aluminium handle, now glued together, will not rot which is a plus point.In terms of performance it works just as well as any string mop, much better than the synthetic alternatives that cost much more.If you are prepared to modify the handle with a suitable glue then this mop will have a long service life.

We have been trying out all sorts of gimmicky mops, with very limited success. Therefore it has been great to fall back on the old traditional and trusty mop. It's doing a good job for us.

Not as pictured. The handle actually comes in 3 bits you have to push together and the coloured bit is a plastic knob you swap with the grey one on the end. The end knob comes off easily so you can't hold it and I have doubts about the longevity of the pole being in 3 bits. It's not really professional grade, but it is a step up from the steel handled mops you buy in supermarkets.
