StanbroilGas Grill Valve Regulator for Weber Q2000 and Q2200 Series - Replacement Parts for Weber 64865

This regulator replaced the OEM regulator that came with Weber grill. It was no problem to install and I have been using it for ~ 4 months now. Works great, as it should.

It took some time to figure out how to install it, no instructions. Once in, the bracket really tightens things up and holds well. This brought life back to my old grill.

Weber q2000 would not come up to temperature and sometimes would not light. Cleaned all components that could be cleaned, and only 1 thing left that was not servicable - the regulator. Sent for tbe replacement, installed, and works as good as new !! I have heard that there have been regulator problems with these grills, not only the q2000. Fast service, very happy.

Unfortunately for me, the part didn’t make a huge difference until I “opened” the gas port a little more.

I could not get a strong flame or adequate heat from my 2200. I cleaned the holes and the flame tube and changed the gas line (connected to a 20# tank) with only modest improvement.Once I changed the regulator the flame was back to normal. I am not sure what causes their deterioration but it can be quite gradual it appears. It is a quick and easy process.

Fit and works

Easy to install. Allows the grill to reach higher temperatures than with the original. Reaching over 400 degrees was almost impossible with the original regulator. This one easily gets up to 600 degrees. Highly recommend.

The media could not be loaded.  The flames are back up. Now I can continue enjoying my summer bbqs! Very easy to install!
