I've gotten into airbrushing lately and have been enjoying airbrushing the statues and figurines I 3D print to use up old filament. One day while researching painting mediums I saw these and just had to try them.As you can see by the photos, these markers do a spectacular job!! Only by looking at the layer lines of this 3D printed Deviljho (Shoutout to my fellow Monster Hunters out there!!) and the infill pattern on the base can you tell it's 3D printed. Better yet, you don't have to primer surfaces first, this marker goes on bare surfaces just fine! I've used it obviously on plastic, but also metal and paper, and the liquid from the markers has stuck well each time. The liquid, when cured seems pretty hard! I've scraped at the 3D printed Deviljho I've included photos of with my fingernails, and haven't been able to scratch any chrome off.However, I am curious as to how resistant this liquid is, so I'm going to color up some parts on my ebike and motorcycle and see how it holds up. Stay tuned, I'll update this review once I get around to doing that! But so far, I'm impressed with the finished durability.I do want to give a warning though: Chromium, which is used in these markers, is toxic. It's no problem in tiny doses, but large amounts of exposure could case nasty health issues. So if you're going to use these often, I recommend wearing gloves. I just wear some nitrile exam gloves when I use these. Again, nothing to be alarmed about, but you know what they say about an ounce of prevention.Finally, I will say that depending on your desired aesthetic, these markers may or may not work well with sealants. I have a 3D printed alligator that I "colored" chrome using these markers, The alligator is 3D printed from TPU, which is a very flexible, almost rubbery plastic (think soft phone cases). A day after I colored the alligator with these markers, I airbrushed some gloss topcoat onto the alligator.To my shock, the gloss topcoat diminished the chrome shine! I was annoyed at first, but realized that this made the alligator look like it was cast from metal! I had myself a good laugh when I showed it to some coworkers, then wildly twisted the alligator print between my hands. They had of course assumed it was cast metal, and were shocked to see the "metal" alligator bend and flex with zero issues. So if you have paper or plastic objects and want to give them a rougher, cast metal look, these markers along with some topcoat sealant can get you that aesthetic!

I can’t describe how much I love these. The shine is perfect. I didn’t think o could achieve this with a paint pen but I absolutely love it!!

Arrived very quickly. Five pens of three different sizes. Has a great chromed gold look. Very shiny. I’m using for detailing plastic models and the paint looks perfect.

So I was going for a thin line look on my dresser.. and the medium and fine tips are more of a plastic tip - so if they drag across a surface they splatter pretty bad. The large tips were the best - a thicker felt like tip that glided way nicer. The chrome gold is beautiful! It turned out just how I wanted it to.

Love these chrome paint pens. They glide smoothly over my resin coasters and there is no excess drips. The coverage is crisp and I only had to do one coat. Great buy.

These pens are amazing. It really looks like chrime not just silver

I bought these to add designs to my shell crafting, and they are fabulous! I plan on ordering the gold and rose gold next.
