Battery is a little expensive compare to the other regular batteries but it is very strong and last 2 to 3 times longer. Also it holds the charge for weeks at the time with no problem. I was thinking of buying more batteries for spares but I have done several jobs with just one and not had any problems. Got the battery from Amazon in just a couple of days and as always I get great service from them.

I buy a lot of stuff from Amazon and I have never had a problem returning anything so here's my advice to you; buy it and try it, if it doesn't work; return it for a refund, even if it is open and has been used. No other web site allows you to do this!

This lasts waaay longer than my nicad. I just bought a house and am doing some major remodeling and this battery lasts a long time vs my nicad. It recharges quickly too with my multichemistry charger.

This larger battery is what I should have purchased. The small pack is fine for smaller projects but this one will last a great deal longer on bigger projects. Great power curve provides constant power throughout on multiple tools.

I've used this with the sabre saw and the circular saw, as well as the drill, and it has excellent power and life. It's much better than the standard, smaller Li-ion battery, and light-years better than nicads!

Great replacement batteries, long usage on one charge. thing to note is when they are out of power they don't rev down, they just stop. but wonderful to be able to cut wood or drill compared to old Nicon batteries.

These batteries are longer lasting than the ones in my De Walt tools. The have the staying power to do odd jobs with my circular and reciprocating saws. I would never buy the Ni Cad version ever again.

I had 1 of these and 2 of the generic batteries that came with the tool. Now that I have 2 of the Lithium EX I can work longer with confidence.
