Good noise level, 3 levels is completely sufficient, “soft touch” plastic is easy to grip.Extremely happy with this dremel, only complaints are how wide it is, I find it tricky to grip and it may be too large for some small hands.Also the “dust cover” attachment was so tricky to get on at first. It comes with a diagram but the alignment just wouldn’t work for several tries, so I was very worried I’d break it while trying: finally got it though! Without the dust cover it works perfectly fine too especially for touch-ups, but it was needed for my first time as I was trimming back quite a lot of nail
