Great informative book

I stress “ everyone needs this valuable information “
A must for everyone, could save you from a debilitating disease . Highly recommended. You will need a bit of extra gear in order to follow the regimen. However in this instance “ you will have less money and be happier “ not as dystopian Klaus would want “ you to have have nothing and be happy “. 😂😂If you don’t like reading watch the good doc on YouTube .

ok a bit repetitive good information on the strains
Interesting, good information on the bacteria strains. I did a stool test but I am not sure how reliable it is, but with some interesting results that I can compare with the book. Anyhow I wouldn't substitute flour for almond because of lectins. But I would properly prepared the lectins like almond and beans. A plus with the recipes. A bit repetitive, things all over the place. Needs restructuring again. I started to implement some of the things. I can't tell you yet. Too soon. I did add B2 (not in the book) and I also saw good results for my sjorgen syndrome. Vitamin C (in the book) really helped RA pain. I wonder if H.Puylori but stoll test did not show. I am ok with raw milk kefir but not with pasteurized milk products so I wonder if me or the products itself. references are good and I intend to go throgh them. Pitty the repetition. But definately one of those books I will keep refering back.

WARNING: This book could seriously damage your health
Having bought this book with a view to learning how to improve my gut biome and upon reading positive reviews, I was horrified to read the recommendations within.Firstly, it appears to have been written for an American audience and consumers; many of the recommended ingredients cannot be easily sourced here in the UK and the recipe measurements also reflect American ones. Anyone attempting the recipes within will need to source some of the not-so-easy to find ingredients and then have the time and equipment to make them.Secondly, unless you are medically-minded there is a lot of jargon to negotiate; there is much emphasis on detailing the chemistry and physiology of digestion and how it influences the whole body at a multi-system level. It blinds with science that many lay people, desperate for a solution to their digestive problems, will not understand. Nevertheless, these explanations are sufficiently alarming to perhaps make those people forge on in the hope they can "cure" themselves without resorting to expensive medical bills and tests.Thirdly, the regime that is recommended for restoring the gut biome is downright dangerous in my opinion. It initially encourages readers to "prepare the soil", basically meaning that you weed out/kill the bad gut microbes. This entails harsh measures - removing wheat, all grains, sugars, artificial sweetners, certain additives and caffeine from the diet, but most dangerously it recommends stopping certain medications including statins. Of course, it tells you to "check with your medical practitioner" first, but how many people actually do? It warns that you will suffer certain toxic effects from this regime. It then goes on to recommend particular drinks and supplements. One particular drink is a Clove Green Tea concoction to restore intestinal mucus. Eugenol, found in Cloves is highly toxic to humans in certain doses. It can cause liver damage, seizures, allergic reactions, bleeding and clotting disorders. How can anyone considering following the recommendations within this book know exactly what effects this drink will have on them or whether what doses they are consuming is right for them? The book also recommends using Fructoolligosaccharides, which to people with possibly undiagnosed bowel disorders, food intolerance, IBD and IBS is downright dangerous. It recommends the use of Stevia and Xylitol. At high doses Xylitol causes gastrointestinal discomfort, IBS, bloating and diarrhoea. It also increases levels of phosphates, oxalate and calcium excretion in urine, increasing the risk of kidney stones. Stevia, whilst claimed as being a "natural" sweetner, has similar side effects and causes nausea, bloating, low blood pressure and hormone disruption. It's safety has been questioned in the past as being carcinogenic and it has been banned in some countries.Any lay person with no understanding of human physiology, who tries to negotiate their way through this book, risks seriously damaging their health and causing potentially worse problems. It preys upon peoples desperation for a solution. I defy anyone to actually complete the four week plan without giving up due to the potentially severe side effects they will undoubtedly experience. This kind of regime should only be entered into under strict MEDICAL SUPERVISION, with the support and expertise of a qualified professional who is on hand to intervene with advice and guidance.I returned the book and requested a refund.
