I am one who conveniently "forgets" to moisturize. These 1 ounce size tubes have been a good choice for me. I have one on the side table where I read, one in my vehicle's console, one on my desktop, one in my purse. Having them close at hand has caused me to moisturize more often. And being small tubes, they do not get in the way. The small size also prompts me to push out just a small amount--and not too much product.What I've been using the past few years is the Pre de Provence Rose de Mai. And because I surely do love the Rose de Mai fragrance and texture of the cream, I have not ventured from it--until now. Several years ago, when I first started using the Pre de Provence Rose de Mai product line, Amazon did not offer the extensive Pre de Provence product lines that it does now. Wow! There are many to choose from. And I have willingly ventured away from the Rose. Working with several different lines at once I have realized that some are more appropriate at times than others.For instance: I like this Riche Hand Cream line for daytime use, will use it during the warmer months. The consistency of the Riche cream is a bit thinner. It is almost effortless to squeeze from the tube. It glides on smoothly and easily. It soaks in very quickly. Its fragrances last for an hour or two.I like the Riche Body Butter for my elbows and legs.Out of all the fragrances in this particular line, I like Mirabelle the best. I think it smells somewhat like peaches, but with floral notes. And there is a brightness that gives it a little zip and prevents it from being sweet or cloying. There also seems to be a touch of patchouli that lingers, too. I've tried the Lavender and Almond, and they are fine fragrances, but a bit too tried and true for me. And the Mint Leaf is very nice and works well on very hot days. The Coconut is like opening a fresh bag of Bakers Sweetened Coconut! And I've not tried the Starflower yet. And if they come up with any new fragrances--I put in a hopeful vote for lime!Why Pre de Provence from France? Simply because their fragrances are so wonderful. I appreciate their expertise in combining quality essential oils to create magnificent fragrances. And they do not skimp on the essential oils. Using their products is truly a very rewarding sensual experience that I've come to rely on every day.I realize that what I use while I sweat during these hot summer months is probably not what I will choose to wear in drier, colder weather. I think that, in a few months from now, (I'm in Texas), I will switch to the Pre de Provence line that has 20% Shea Butter. Its hand creams and body butters are a bit thicker and sturdier, somewhat richer in oils and butters.At bed time, I like the Pre de Provence Moroccan Argan Oil line of products. They take their sweet time soaking in and are ideal for working their magic during the night.

Oh, this lotion smells so wonderful! I didn't know what a mirabelle was when I first saw it, so I looked it up. It's a yellow plum that isn't very common here. The scent isn't like anything I'm familiar with--it's a sort of floral fruity smell, but bright, not perfumey or overwhelming. It smells like a faintly citrusy fruit blossom essential oil blend. So pretty.The lotion itself is shiny and spreads out very slightly when you squeeze it from the tube, but isn't runny or oily at all. I put some on right before I drove my car, and my hands didn't slip at all on the wheel. I really hate when I put lotion on and I can't use my hands for ten minutes because they'll make everything greasy. That isn't a problem with this lotion, for me. My skin feels really soft, and I can still tell the difference even after washing my hands. Also, you hardly need to use any to cover your hands. This will last longer than I thought, although probably not long enough :)The lotion comes in a metallic plastic tube with pretty graphics. Unlike many Pre de Provence products, the tube doesn't come in a cardboard box.This is such a sweet little thing to pull out of your bag. It looks pretty and then you open it up and it smells pretty, and then you put it on and it feels pretty, too. Love it!
