I like these bags. I bought these after i ran out of the stock ones that came with my foodsaver vacuum sealer. As is, they are too big to fit in the built-in compartment of the foodsaver so i just re-rolled half of it so that it would fit. I haven't tried to seal anything with bones yet, but it looks like it'll hold up without worries of puncturing. These bags have sealed pretty well with both dry and wet foods.These don't have 'markers" to help with a straight cut like the foodsaver stock rolls did, but I can live without it.I'll be buying more when I run out.Update 9-17-16: So I've been researching sous vide style cooking and they apparently require sealed bags that can handle boiling (duh) without leaching chemicals. I've noticed not all bags specifically mention they are safe for sous vide or boiling. Luckily, looking back, this one says it is. Once my sous vide machine arrives and I get a chance to try it out with these bags, I'll be sure to post an update on how well it held up in the boiling water. :)update 1-5-17: Well I've been using these with the sous vide machine and they seem to hold up perfectly well in the 170F temp waters for 3.5 hrs. Which is the highest temp and longest time I've used them in the machine for. Can't tell if it's leaching chems though from the temps, but I don't notice any "unusual" tastes so i'm guessing it's not, I'm hoping it's not :) It's serving me well though in all my needs, I'm almost out so about to buy some more :)

These bags are of good quality. They seal well and are tough enough to cook with too. So they are a great way to not only to store food but to cook with too. I save left-overs, seal and then freeze them. When ready to heat the food up again, just throw the sealed frozen bag into a pot of water, bring to just a boil, and reduce to low heat for about 15 minutes. Voila !!! Freezer to plate and ever bit as tasty !!! The roll is nice in comparison to the prepared bags as you can custom make the size you need. this not only saves on waste from excess bag, but makes the sealed food bags a better size for storing as not excess bag to deal with. Good buy ... will order again : )

I was tired of either paying exorbitant prices for vacuum seal bag rolls to get what I needed or save a few bucks and buy the packaged ones that had sizes or precut bags I didn't want because I still have a large stock of them from previous purchases.These bags are great for my Food Saver sealer - I compared them side by side with the manufacturer's bags. Other than appearing to be slightly thicker they were very similar. I did have to re-roll half of the large roll to fit in the sealer, but once done it worked perfectly and it only took a few minutes. Sealed well without a problem and I can't tell the difference in quality.There was nothing wrong with the manufacturer's bags, but since these are around half the price and I get exactly what I want, I'm extremely satisfied. I will definitely buy these again when I run out, which will take me a lot longer than I'm used to!

My husband ordered these for the sealer I bought him...he said they're working great and would buy again.Update 06/05/2017: Still going strong. We are reordering. Bags work well, seal great, less cost than the "brand name" bags. We've even re-used a few and they seal fine. Recommend.UPDATE 07/22/2017: I am downgrading a star because the last batch of bags do not seem to be able to hold a seal after they are used in the freezer. Very disappointing. This was our second order from this seller. The first order was great. Not sure what the problem is, we aren't doing anything different with our FoodSaver unit, and the bags seem to be exactly the same as the ones we had before. What the higgety is going on here???

Just packaged 30-40lbs of meat and it worked great. Huge roles for the price you pay. Will buy again.For a tip, we don't have time to pick up fresh meet or wait a while for stuff to thaw. For ground beef, we bag it and seal it with 1 lb in a pouch. Then smash it down smooth in the pouch so it will thaw in a few minutes under water.For chicken we trim it ready to cook and place it in the bag. Typically we buy large packeges from Sam's club of meat and cut the breast in half thickness wise so they saw faster. I typically thaw under the sink and the with the bag still closed tenderise the meat before opening the bag to keep a nice clean kitchen while cooking with meat.

The quality of the vacuum bags is fine, as is the value. My only issue is the diameter of the rolls, as I they don't fit in the bag dispenser area of my food saver. I never gave that a thought when I ordered. I can still use the bags, I will just have to cut the bag size outside the machine until the diameter of the bag is reduced enough to fit inside the food saver. I am very satisfied with the product, this is my oversight and not a reflection on the product. Next time I will just buy the bundle of 4 25 ft rolls instead of 2 50 ft rolls. I would recommend this to anyone that has a food saver.

I didnt go wrong when i purchased thez Vacuum Pack bags!We are on a budget and cant afford to pay $10 a box for less than a dozen bags thats totally ridiculous in my book.We loved vac sealing things but u just didnt want to waste all that money, and then i ran across thisWe hav used a lot of this and they seal just as good as the Seal a Meal bags and look how much you get!I took the time to roll out the product so it would fit my machine and then i precut a bunch to hav them ready for use!And they can also be reused if you clean them well, i hav reused alot of mineIve had this now for abt 6mo and we havent used a half of the first roll!!SO i must say this is a great product and def worth the moneyYou get 100 foot for less than what it cost for two boxes of the Seal a Meal bags, you just cant go wrong... period
