Don't go camping again without this. If you have 10 minutes, you can install this. Can't wait till spring break!!!!!!
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. I love this Jack. Like the rest of you, raising and lowering the jack while putting on the weight distribution hitch, etc. is a real pain. I'm a 55 year old woman so I was a little intimidated about adding this. I finally decided to try this. The jack was delivered in 2 days. I opened the box and looked at the contents. I didn't have time to mount it the day I got it because it was already getting dark. I looked at it enough to determine the instructions are useless. I got the jack stands out and lowered the tongue of the RV till the weight was off the old jack. Looking at the instructions, it appeared you needed 6 star washes but they only gave you 3. I stopped there until I had more time. We had a soccer tournament today. We got home at 3. There was a light drizzle but I wanted to see if I could install it. The most intimidating part was loosening the bolts on the old jack and sliding it out. I had visions of the whole thing crashing down. The old one came off easily. The Jack Quick slid right into the old slots and lined up perfectly. I Installed the 6 washers on the 3 bolts, tightened it down, plugged it in and it worked beautifully. I should knock off one star for not giving you 6 star washers since it required a trip to the hardware store. Also they should have some method for attaching the plug and cord to the unit while you are under tow. I used some long bread ties to secure it to the jack. Hope that is enough. I am so pleased. The actual install, (not including buying the washers or putting the RV on the jack stands down) took 10 minutes. So easy. Don't wait. If I can do this you can. Do turn the lights on the vehicle or the jack won't turn on. I tested it just for grins. I added a video. Sorry, I don't know how to edit it.

Works great, as long as your headlights are on
Worked great - once. Super easy to install and worked great the first time I used it, went to use it again six days later and there’s no power to it at all. When it did work, the light was very dim and not very helpful at all when you are hooking up or disconnecting after dark. I’m updating my review because after reading through the rest of the Amazon reviews, I discovered that your headlights have to be on in order for this jack to work. I replaced a fuse in my truck and made sure my headlights were on every time I used it and it works fine. Would’ve been nice if there had been a FAQ or a troubleshooting guide with the installation instructions.

Quick and Easy!!!
I was a little concerned about the travel length on the jack, but it works great with the adjustable foot. My F350 sits pretty high and this jack takes it all the way up with some to spare. Had the old jack out and the new on installed in about 30 minutes. Love the fact that it plugs into my truck. Read the directions carefully, you have to have your running lights on in order for this jack to get power. The only down side is finding a way to secure the cable when traveling down the road. Great Product.

No quality control
Motor and light did NOT work from the get go, but we were leaving town so I just used the crank handle that came as part of the unit. Got back from our 4 day trip and realized the plug had fallen off. The wires were apparently not screwed in or tightened to the plug at the factory. I hard wired to the battery and it functions fine. I am a big fan of the unit, but I am not a fan of quality control at manufacturing.

good company to deal with
This jack works as expected and just as advertised. The instructions could use some tweeking. I actually used these reviews to trouble shoot my problem. If you hold the button and cause the jack to go up too high, it will blow a fuse in your vehicle. Not knowing what I did wrong, I thougt I blew the jack. A few hours later, I read reviews and replaced the fuse. I put a mark on the jack and have some extra fuses in my glove box just in case. Also, good company to deal with. Item came right on time, hassle free.

Horrible customer service!!!!
We used the jack for one weekend and it worked great until we went to go hook up the truck and......no action. We talked with the company once and they told us to check fuses and we did. All was good and Jack still doesn't work. We replied after that email and now correspondence is MIA. No reaction, no replies, or phone calls returned. Had the jack for one weekend and haven't been able to proceed to find out what to do next.I would recommend if it wasn't for the horrible customer service we have been provided.

Love it. Easy Peezy
Should have bought it years ago. Easy to install. The only thing I wish it ran off battery also. But that I’ll make a plug that hooks to trailer battery so if trailer is not hooked up I can plug it in and raise it up or down. I could always put the crank in the top and do it also but that’s work. I like the push of the button.

Had it overnighted so i could install it before trip ...
Had it overnighted so i could install it before trip. Has to gobto UPS store the day of trip tonpick it up. Got it home & installed right out of the box, after taking off other hand crank jack. Backed the truck up & it didnt work. Had to use manual function to hook up travel trailer. I took originaI jack with is on the trip. Swapped them out once we got to destination. I am returning this electric jack. The 7 pin connector and wiring shroud is cheap plastic. The motor probably works but it never got power. The loghts never lit up, so I figure there's a short in the wiring somewhere.

Read the hidden instructions to get it to work.
Jack has just been put on and appears to work great. Will know more in a few weeks after some traveling/camping.Problems I had was that the jack only works when your vehicle is running and the headlights are on. 2 things created frustration for me:1) When ordering the jack it wasn't clear which jacks came with 7-pin connectors to your tow vehicle and which jacks came with a connection to the trailer's 12 volt battery. I could live with either one, but would have preferred the direct connection tot he trailer's battery. In my case I received the 7-pin connectors.2) The fact that the 7-pin connectors require the two vehicle running and headlights on, was not obvious too me and I spent hours trying to figure out why the jack wouldn't work after installation. The tidbit about the lights is noted on a separate piece of paper that fell loose in the box. After returning the 1st unit and receiving the 2nd unit, that's when I noticed the lights on requirement and the jack appears to be working fine. Why not put that requirement right in the instructions sheet?

One Star
This item simply never fully worked and blows a fuse every time I attempted to use it.
