AMAZING CONTROLLER!!
this controller is much better than the original Nintendo 64 controller. Its turbo function is the best part! The controller has a nice, smooth texture, the buttons are super responsive and feel smooth, the shoulder buttons feel very satisfying, there is a z button on both sides of the controller, and the analog stick is very comfortable (rather than the very crappy joystick on the original.) Overall, this controller is totally worth it. Got here super-fast and is the best option. If you are a modern gamer but also like to play retro games, this controller is perfect for you. It's expensive, but its worth it. Greatest n64 accessory hands down.

Works Flawlessly ๐๐ป
Finally a wireless controller for my N64 that is comfortable and has good buttons and a nice analog stick ๐๐ปI have to admit though, mine came with a slightly depressed left bumper (not quite as strong of a spring back feel) as the right bumper. This is likely just a manufacturing error and doesnโt affect my experience with it at all but figured it was worth noting for the very serious enthusiasts. Input lag feels almost nonexistent to me ๐๐ป and the shape of the controller fits my hands perfectly. All in all very happy with my purchase

Great controller
Makes the N64 enjoyable to play. I had forgetton how bad the original controller felt or maybe it just older and canโt go back lol but the Brawler is fantastic. I wish it had rumble tho

This has single-handedly revived the use of my N64.
I've had my N64 since 1998. It got tons of use, and then it got put away when newer consoles came out. I recently brought it back out to play some old games with my kids, but the controllers were all worn out. I rebuilt the joystick modules on all three controllers, and they work great for multiplayer, but once you've gone wireless, it's hard to go back.I use the original wired controllers when we're all playing, but this is the only controller I use when I'm playing Star Wars: Rogue Squadron by myself. If Nintendo had it all to do over again, THIS is the controller they would have made.Absolutely amazing.

Poor quality control
The controller was missing a screw straight out of the box. This causes a gap in the lower left corner of the controller where the two halves want to come apart.I can buy a screw and repair it myself, but I shouldn't have to. This is an American company charging premium prices for their product, and there are certain standards and expectations that go along with that.As for the controller itself, there are several flaws that I hope will be remedied going forward:First, there is no slot for the memory pak or rumble pak.Second, the wireless dongle that goes into the controller port is too big, and sags. This puts tremendous pressure on the controller port, especially if you decide to put the memory pack in the dongle (which is where you have to put your memory pak). For a machine that is notorious for controller ports that crap out over time, I can't think of anything I want less than this huge dongle hanging off it. You can buy 3D printed support pieces from fan sites that will help alleviate this problem, but again, we shouldn't have to.Third, and finally, the controller itself feels extremely lightweight and cheap. It doesn't have the heft that OEM controllers from Nintendo, Sony, and Microsoft have. Having the memory pak / rumble pak attached to the controller would have, of course, helped with that, but alas that was not to be.All in all a disappointing experience. I was originally planning on buying two of these, so my wife and I could play Mario Kart and a couple of other games together with the modern convenience of wireless controllers. Now I'm just glad I decided to test one out before committing to a second. I guess I'll just buy a used OEM controller from eBay instead. Sadly, I expect a nearly 30-year-old used controller will almost assuredly be a better investment than another Retro Fighters Brawler64 wireless controller.Sorry, guys. I wanted to love it, and I don't enjoy leaving a negative review. But honest feedback is the only recourse consumers have in situations like this. I hope this feedback will help you guys when you're designing your next controller, because I want you to succeed.

Absolutely the best upgrade to the N64 experience I've tried so far.
Recently bought an N64 to relive glory days in the barracks. I always hated the original N64 controller. This Controller if phenomenal. I thought maybe the placement of the analog stick was wonky at first but it just feels natural after a few moments playing. The large C buttons and tactile fell of all the buttons is perfect. After pairing the controller it is a seamless experience with no delay I can detect. I also love how the controller goes to sleep on its own after a few minutes without input. Then waking it back up is easy peazy by pushing the start button a few times. If you enjoy playing N64 games this thing is a game changer. I haven't tried to see the full range of this thing but the experience in the normal 10 - 20 foot range is very responsive. I've got a smaller Tv to much more is pushing the limits of my old eyeballs.
