I love to cook and this gives special flavors to many of my dishes. It has plenty of salt in it so best to go light, then taste. AND it has a little spicy kick to it that I love!

Really great umami flavor that goes well on anything you want to add an extra savory kick to.

While I LOVE the smokey version, this one isn't bad.Same as with the other one, I've used this on numerous dishes - soups, toast, meats, etc. This one is more subtle than the smokey version, but that also makes it a bit more useful in dishes where you don't want to overpower the natural flavors - split pea soup for instance.I've used both in my dry BBQ rubs too, and if you have a discerning tongue, you'll notice the difference. If you're the type that eats any & everything but can't pick out any flavors other than salt and pepper...well, you might want to skip this one.

Adds such a savory, rich and delicious flavor profile - I love this stuff. Be advised; it does contain salt and also chili flakes. So, it has a kick and also should not be used in combination with other salted seasonings because they things can get very salty.

This adds another layer of umami to your cooking. Increases the complexity of flavor. It doesn't hurt that I love mushrooms, but the taste isn't overwhelmingly mushroom. It's subtle, and there is garlic, salt and other spices added as well.

I’ve used this in chicken salad and sauces of every kind. I haven’t found any savory dish it did not enhance.

I had a Russian family who were vegan over for dinner and prepared a vegan Russian meal that included a cabbage soup recipe, and this seasoning made the soup taste great! Cannot wait to try it with other recipes.

If you have zero tolerance for spicey flavors, it's not for you, it is hot. If you love spicy food, this product will be a perfect addition to your recipes.
