TERRIFIC OLIVE OIL
This is a very mild-tasting olive oil. It is perfect for cooking with or for drizzling on food. If you aren't a big fan of strong-tasting olive oil, you will like this one.

The real thing though a year and five months old upon arrival!
This is the real thing. I would have been happier of the harvest date wasn’t November of 2023 which makes it over a year and five months old. The date still keeps it within the two year expiration on the bottle. The European EVOO gurus only want oil to be less than one year old to be usable. If I order something, especially olive oil I would expect it to be 6 months old at the most. I’m not dissatisfied, but I will try to be more careful in the future. I am interested in purchasing early pressings with high polyphenol and antioxidant levels for the health benefits.

Very good olive oil
It isn't immediately clear with store bought olive oil, but there exist a great many olive oils made from different cultivars of olives. They actually are quite substantially different, so when comparing olive oils it's difficult across cultivars in my opinion. That being said, for Greek Koroneiki olive oil this is a really good oil. I still have difficulty in saying if it's the best Koroneiki based olive oil I've had but the only other oil I've had was extremely good so not exactly a bad thing. This is absolutely nothing like store bought oil, it has a wonderful fresh taste to it that I absolutely love; before trying brands like this I didn't realize olive oil could taste so good, I thought it was really just useful for cooking. That's another area where this oil excels; I will typically bake corn and potatoes in the oven in little bowls of foil that I add the olive oil to in order to boil the vegetables in the oven while still getting the crispy side due to contact with the tray. This and other high end olive oils make potatoes that are just so delicious, better than any potato with butter could ever be in my opinion. When coupled with some salad, grapes, baked corn and potatoes, and a baguette for dipping into this oil you are left with an extraordinarily satisfying meal that is purely plant-based.I will definitely be ordering this again for my olive oil collection! I love having variety with olive oil.
