Can't get enough of this stuff! Highly effective and keeping me alert and awake, and I find it delicious. And in this 12-pack, it's far more affordably priced than what you find in the gas station. Plus, those concerned that this is simply the packaging of dangerous chemicals as an unethical cash-grab would do well to look up Manoj Bhargava, the founder of the company — and the documentary "Billions in Change," which documents his use of the proceeds from 5-Hour Energy to literally solve the planet's most pressing and universal problems. This man is not the stereotypical "money above all else" businessman, and the sales of the product are making far more difference than most of its customers realize.I'm no scientist, but I think the ingredients are basically water, caffeine and amino acids. (At least that's what I tell myself. Glug glug.)

I am sure there are people out there for whom 5 Hour Energy doesn't "work" or causes unpleasant side-effects. But, fortunately, I am not one of those people. It works fantastically well for me! What I do is drink 1/2 a bottle of the Extra Strength variety. The reason I originally started doing that was because I first used 5 Hour Energy during a period where I needed to stay awake for 24+ hours and you are limited to 2 bottles per day (if you follow the warnings on the label). So I figured that rather than getting the normal strength and only lasting 10 hours, I could get the Extra Strength and stretch it out over 20 hours. That worked beautifully and on the rare occasions I have had to stay up 24+ hours since then, I have always turned to 5 Hour Energy.More frequently though, I use it to get me through a particularly slow afternoon at work where I am just dragging and unable to focus. I'd say maybe once every two weeks or so, when I'm feeling the afternoon blahs, I will drink half a bottle of the Extra Strength and then I have no trouble making it through the rest of the day. I love how quickly it "kicks in" too. I'd say within 10 minutes or so I am feeling like a whole new person.

No pill or amount of caffeine will get you to "wake up". That being said, this is the quick fix without the sugar, that will help you stay productive and focused throughout the day.When you work 10 hour days on your feet, you need every boost you can get.People at work love these, and for the price it's easy to see why. People will pay OVER 3 bucks each in store and you're getting 12 at under 1.50 each.The Vit. I must note that I am mildly sensitive to caffeine and usually very reserved on using energy drinks. This has been one of those rare products that delivers as advertised. I would rate this product toward what I use it for. I have always had difficulty getting up in the morning, no matter how long I sleep. I have heard of people using this as a replacement for their morning coffee and thought I should give it a try. Being that I am sensitive to caffeine I tried only half a bottle the first morning and I have to say that within 5 minutes I felt what I would call a "natural" burst of energy. By "natural" I mean that I do not get the nasty jittery energy most competing products give you. For those who are sensitive to caffeine can relate to the slightly anxious and nausea inducing feeling most energy drinks give you, this DOES NOT do that. Highly recommend this product for morning use, no crash at all. I would give this a perfect 5 if it wasn’t so darn expensive.

This multi-pack is a great value. It is much cheaper than purchasing them in any convenience store.

5 Hour Energy drinks are necessary for me to stay awake deer hunting.

I had to stop drinking carbonated beverages about 10 years ago and I hated taking caffeine in tablet form, it was all to hard on my stomach, esophagus and blood pressure. So I broke down and tried this during a long car trip and much to my joy it was wonderful. The vitamin B(s) that are added make it a smooth up and a smooth down, not a jolt yet it does far more than just caffeine would and lasts longer. I don't use it daily, but when I have to be somewhere and I am feeling sluggish I just drink this and very soon the cob webs have disappeared, my sight has cleared and I am ready to deal with what I have to do. I also have a lot of sleep issues and I can use this to stabilize my sleep pattern as well. I also enjoy mixing it with juice instead of drinking it straight, but the taste isn't bad by itself and best of all it doesn't hurt my stomach or esophagus.
