DRIFT HANDLE BAR MOUNT

Couldn't ask for more. Made out of high quality material and has a rubberized clamp to reduce shock vibration or damage to whatever you intall it to. I use it on my MTB on very rough technical trails and never had a problem with picture quality. I used this on my passenger headrest for autocross and it worked like a charm.

Bought this for my son. He did not use it for several months due to bad weather in WI. So I am past the return deadline, my bad. After riding three blocks the camera is so loose that he removes it because he is afraid it will fall off. I am going to try adding a small o-ring under the screw to act as a "lock" to prevent the screw from turning loose. I'm not upset regarding the return policy, circumstances forced me to miss the deadline.I initially contacted Drift because I thought I purchased it from them. They said it may is most likely a bad mount and they would provide a replacement. My guess is that they will not replace it because I bought it through Amazon. I will still try.Update 6/7/14I am providing an update to my post. As it turns out we were able to get this mount to work properly. Here is what we did wrong. The screw that mounts the universal clip to the camera has a very small Phillips screw socket. We did not realize that you should tighten the screw by torqueing on the "finger bar" that is built into the clip. Did this today and the camera did not come loose during a 20 mile ride. And by the way, Drift did offer to provide a new mount. Don't think we will need it.

Works exactly as expected. I don't seem to be having an issue with vibration/jittering of the camera footage. As you can see, this doesn't require tools to take on and off the bike, which could either be a good or bad thing.

Works great but if you mount it on a bicycle, you will need to get a locking nut because it can come loose and the camera will bounce. Other than that, solid product.

This handlebar mount is great I actually got it so I could run my drift camera on my paintball marker barrel, which it certainly works well for but I also do a lot of mountain biking and it is great to get footage when I am out trail riding.

When you need to attach your Drift Ghost in a pinch this is the way to do. The inclusion of a rubberized material at the bar mounting area helps to keep the mount in the exact position you want. Seems nicely overbuilt so you should not see your expensive Drift camera tumbling down the road any time soon.

Save your money and buy the adapter to use the Drift with GoPro mounts. This mount is super loose and the video is almost unusable when mounted to a mountain bike handlebar.

Item is not manufactured for bicycle handlebars. When I finally managed to get the mount attached in a manner where the camera was useful, one manhole cover hit broke the pivoting mechanism. I do not recommend this product and as the sticky mounts are currently on back order for another 8 weeks (a total wait of 12 weeks!), I am considering ditching the Ghost for a Go Pro. I have also purchased the "Vented Helmet mounting kit" which also doesn't work with either my Bern or Lazer helmets.

Also die Halterung ist alles in allem sehr gut.nur der Radius ist etwas knapp bemessen.Mein Lenker fängt in der Mitte dick an ,da wollte ich die Kamera haben.Er verjüngt sich aber zu den Griffen hin,wo ich dann gott sei dank die Halterung anbringen konnte.So nun zum ABER....Lieferung durch DHL ...Grottenschlecht ..Laut Karte war der Fahrer um 17.35 da und hat geklingelt...Ganze Familie war um diese Uhrzeit beim Essen,Klingel funktionirt perfekt.Und am nächsten morgen wurde Briefkasten ab 8 uhr stündlich geprüft.Karte war aber plötzlich um 13 uhr im Briefkasten..Ein Wunder ??Magie? Nein nur das zweite mal das der DHL Fahrer in den Feierabend wollte und einfach karte einwarf ohne zu klingeln.

Worked really well. Very simple and easy to fit and remove from my bike. Takes seconds. It's also very well made and sturdy.The rubberised bracket did a pretty good job at absorbing minor vibration when on tarmacked tracks, but to be honest, nothing at all will stop the picture jumping and leaping as you are going over very rough terrain on a mountain bike so I can't hold that against. And quite frankly it's what makes the footage look so good as you hurtle over rocks and mud anyway. The mount held the camera securely and safely over everything we through at it and that's its job after all.Highly recommended.

A pretty good mount but could be slightly easier to tighten/adjust as well as a damper needed, hence the 4 stars and not 5.Even with a shim of rubber wrapped round the handlebar, there was a LOT of vibration which resulted in very tricky-to-watch footage. Perhaps if there could be somewhere within the mount to incorporate a damper to absorb some of this vibration and smooth out what you're recording, that would be beneficial.Overall though, it's a decent mount with no little bits which look likely to snap/fall off in the near future.Thanks.

Halterung kann an vielen Stellen des bikes angebracht werden, einziger Kritikpunkt ist die wakelige Halterung der Kamera! Die Kunststoffhalterung bietet zu viel spiel mit der Kamerahalterung.
