Instinct Raw Boost Whole Grain Lamb & Oatmeal Dry Dog Food, 20 lb. Bag

I feel like I’ve gone through every dog food imaginable for my chiweenie and this seems to be the winner! She’s extremely picky and eats the freeze dried pieces first and takes her precious time eating the rest of the kibble, but I’ll call it a win because she will actually eat it…eventually. Her poop smells really bad afterwards, but small price to pay for something she actually enjoys! I purchased a separate bag of just the freeze dried pieces to reward her for eating all of her food.

My Maine coon picks these specifically out of her dry mix she loves them so much!

I can't comment much on the flavor, other than my dog seems to like it. 🤣🤣🤣 I have been feeding him Instinct for a while now, preferring limited ingredient because of the reduced reoccurrence of his allergies and the benefit of near zero flatulence. But I don't like that they use peas as a filler in the absence of grain (studies seem to implicate abundance of peas or legumes - but especially peas - in the diet of larger dogs can lead to an increased risk of heart disease. When I adopted my dog, he was heartworm positive. I don't want to potentially add any additional burden to his heart . Since his grain-free ran out, I thought I would try this recipe containing oats, millet, and barley to see how he does. The jury is still out on that and I'm not a big fan of grains (though far better than peas). But, other than the grains, which are 3rd or 4th on the ingredient list, I have zero concerns or omplaints about the ingredients list. Especially important too, since my dog is allergic to chicken, is that there is no trace of chicken of any kind. Instinct is one of few high quality brands that don't add chicken meal, fat, or anything else to every recipe.

My dogs love this dog food! One of them is 15 years old and is allergic to chicken. I have bought several brands of dog food that didn’t list chicken but it was there, not this one it has no chicken and the dogs love it!

Loki went straight for the freeze dried pieces. Only problem was the expiration date just three months out and the smell is pretty strong but he did not turn away.

My old and picky dog really likes this food. He picks out the freeze dried chicken pieces first and then eats the rest. He has consistently eaten this throughout the whole bag so I am ordering another bag. This is good news because he is usually very picky and stops eating halfway through a bag.

Buena calidad de croqueta

Son croquetas de calidad, mis perros no dudan en comerlas, de hecho les compraba otra marca que también son "raw" y se las tenía que agregar algún sobre para que se las comieran completas, estas sin sobre se las comen y con gusto, se ve que les encantan y si no es económica pero vale la pena por su calidad y porque tengo la garantía que es muy buena alimentación y que están comiendo con gusto no solo porque tengan hambre.

Desde el primer bocado vimos que nuestro perrito le encantó solo habia probado con el de salmón pero ahora el de pollo es su preferido 🥰🥰

Es muy bueno, pero por el precio la verdad prefiero cambiar a alimento natural. Igual es bueno, así que lo recomiendo mucho.

Me encanta esta marca! Y más importante mi Bernés amó estas croquetas! Los diferentes sabores me ayudan a que siga emocionada en su comida. Salmón, pollo y ternera parecen encantarle! Creo que la calidad de las croquetas valen el costo, solo me gustaría que la bolsa tuviera un sello más fácil de cerrar (ziplock de lado del empaque en lugar de en medio arriba).Cuando hice el cambio de croquetas lo hice poco a poco en el transcurso de dos semanas sin problemas. Nunca tuvo repercusiones en el estómago y eso que es sensible por parvovirus cuando era pequeña. Ya acostumbrada a la marca cambio de sabores sin ningún proceso de transición.En cuanto a la selección de Raw Boost, seleccione esta versión ya que cuenta con granos/cereales. Investigue sobre la alimentación ideal para perros grandes y a pesar de que la proteína es fundamental, las croquetas sin granos han demostrado causar problemas cardíacos.Espero les sirva la información!
