Got this for my niece, she really enjoyed playing with it and it turned into one of her favorite gifts. Its fairly resilient and didn't fall apart yet after many many uses. As you could imagine, she was really young when she played with it and put it in her mouth a lot. We didn't notice any negative reactions so I don't think it has a weird flavor. The book is ok but the real ticket item is the ball.

Great little book and toy! My 3 month old grandson loves them. He can easily grab the ball too and it's very lightweight. He also loves the book!

My baby loves to hold the ball. Easy to grip and pass from hand to hand. The book is a bit unusual in illustration but the ball is worth the money alone!

Cute baby book! Made of soft material (suitable for baby gnawing). Pages wipe clean and of course have the delightful crinkle sound that should honestly come in all books, even books for older kids and adults!And the ball- Lightweight, easy to clean, no sharp edges and flexible. Easy for an infant to grasp, perfect for when they are starting to grasp things & developing their hand & eye coordination. The many holes make it easy for them to pick it up and hold onto it. My son goes everywhere with this thing and it keeps him entertained.

Our baby loves the crinkle sound in every page of this book! The colors and pictures are bright and colorful and entertaining to look at - especially the random assortment of cartoon character animals alongside realistic-looking animals (what's with the huskies on the back page?). The ball is simple and easy to hold onto for our 4 month old. We attached the ball to other links to attach it to activity gyms or the stroller when we go on walks (so we don't have to worry about it falling out). Great value for the price.

Book on animals visual

This is a great baby toy! My son is 5m and he loves it! The book really keeps him busy. It has a little squeaky button inside the lining of the book, which is a added bonus. He also loves the ball! It's easy for him to hold because of all the holes it has, so he can get a good grip!

So simple and baby loves them both.

I had these for about 3 months and I've got to say we don't go anywhere without that book! My baby loves it. The ball not so much, she looks at it for a bit and then just throws is away. The only downside I would say is that you can't put the book in the washing machine and wiping it doesn't feel so 'clean' after months of use.

Brought this for a friend's new born baby as a gift. I was told the baby loved playing with it.

They are great for kids but quality of the product and material makes me think they are overpriced
