Patricia telesco's writing style is simple, but not bland. She lends understanding and humor, to common thoughts, and everyday situations, with unique perspective. The first time I bought this book, it was stolen from behind the counter at a store. The second time I bought this book, it was inadvertently taken by a friend, who was reading it when she moved. The third time I bought it because I had enjoyed what I'd read before. This copy I bought for my out of state daughter. A staple in any library.

Basically this is a book for inspirational witches that needs a tickle or two of knowledge. No. It's not here to teach you things but it will inspire you to do you own magic. For example, fortune telling on buttons. Just get the book so you won't be stuck in an idealistic box of what witchcraft is 😌😉

I was actually surprised when I got this book in. It was ordered accidently for one. However, I kept the book. It had a lot of good pointers and I actually enjoyed reading it. There was ideas for charms and spells for bad days.

Not only is this book delightful to read, but you just full of practical information and helpful tips as well. One of my favorites so far for sure. If you're on the fence about buying it, just do.

I have bought other books on witchcraft but this one is the best by far! It is so adorable and cute and easy to read. It keeps my attention through the non-spell parts and the spells are sweet and simple. Every witch needs this book!! A great buy!!!

Fun and interesting book for anyone who is Wiccan or is just investigating the religion. I used some of the spells and they worked for me. Give the book a try.

After starting off with Silver Ravenwolf's books as an introduction to Wicca, and having studied Wicca for many years I just couldn't enjoy it or put it all into practice as it all seemed to complicated or full or ceremonial claptrap. Telesco has solved all that by putting Wicca into more simplistic and enjoyable terms giving you more room to relax and enjoy the magick you can create without following hard and fast rules! This book through its Charms and Spells throughout the book has given me more aha! moments and actually got me going with practicing Wicca! I especially love her very simple and easy to remember Incantations and Charms which have made it so much easier to see how to make up my own!For those who are strict (stiff?) on their definitions and practice of 'ethical' wicca, this book isn't for you! It's not that I don't think that this book isnt ethical, its just that I feel that some people are too dogmatic to see that the Moma Earth is dark as well as light and Wiccan theory can be used in any sense as long not to interfere with other peeps or to cause deliberate harm!
