Guardog Top Notch Skate Guards - Gelz, Glitz, Pearlz, and Solid Colors

Looks like it will do the job. But some assembly (not so simple imho) and a sharp razor required.Also, it seems a bit rudimentary. That is, you have a few pieces of rubberized plastic and a couple of screws and springs (probably 39 cents of material) to protect what might be 500 dollar skates...And it does not look foolproof as some side motion could dislodge the rubberized material from the screw.Probably something more elegant, assembled, and better designed out there.

If you want your blades protected, these guards are critical. It was not difficult to adjust them to fit securely so I can walk anywhere in my skates without damage to the blades. And, the color and glitter are bright and fun!

Nothing I saw on the description of this product says that this won't fit men's skates. Pretty disappointing to buy these guards, receive them in the mail, and not even be able to use them.

I like these guards. Hold well to the runners. Had no problems adjusting these guards to my sons skates. Adjustment does required some effort; measuring and cutting.

Fits well on my 10.5 inch blade. Keep in mind this is not to be used for storage immediately after skating since the water won't drain and the blades may rust.

Dear customers,i believe these guards work extremely well. Guardog is a good company to get skate guards from. i have used this brand before for low level blades. rockerz though are the best type for high performance skates.

Easy to assemble with their notched profile (not all guards are).Nice and flexible and easy to get on and off.

They appear to be of a good quality and the cutting instructions were easy to follow. My daughter loves the glitter, too. I bought the purple glitter guard
