Bought these to go around the roof of our house. Really nice that you can connect strings together without losing any function. I was able to connect three strings together and only had to use one plug. What's nice is that i was able to control all 3 strings with just 1 remote.

We finally got to decorating for Christmas this year and this was an easy way to make the house bright. I got two sets of these to cover one side of the house to the other (well, it was roughly a foot short but oh, well). It took some time to unravel and put up but it was fairly straightforward and easy to do.No issues with connecting the sets but there is A LOT of excess line to roll up between where they connect and the lights are. It looks weird in the day but as long as you arrange it so the lights are an equal distance apart, it looks fine at night.That along with the fact that I prefer the gently twinkling light pattern and you need to reset it EVERY NIGHT because it doesn’t remember are they only cons I could find in these lights. Some of the patterns are… too much, haha. They’re good overall and I’m pleased with their performance thus far. I hope they’ll continue to do their thing for a few more years at least!

They are beautiful, twinkly & multi colored or white with a remote control, they are perfect!It took a bit of work to untangle the lights, but they are beautiful.It's a bit drab here in the NW in the winter months. We like to leave up clear lights year round, around our dining area. Some of the old clear lights were no longer working and they were dusty and dirty. Trying to find a replacement that would meet all seasons and these ticked every box!They can be changed from white, to multi, to twinkling, flashing or just on. They do it ALL!!!I love how bright the lights are on white, bright white, with just a hint of blue.The cord is clear, which is perfect and not too thick.Although for now, they are on stay on bright white mode, sometimes it takes a bit getting used to the various changing modes, via either the remote control or the option to make changes to the lights on the cord/plug in.Sometimes, once they are flashing, it takes a bit of work to get them back to where we would like, but it is worth the optional variations.They can be bright, multi colored, or muted and soft multi colored. Twinkle, blink, flashing, strobe, you name it.My only concern, at least later down the road, is what if one or more lights quit working? It did not come with replacement parts or ideas. So far they have been on quite a bit since he holidays and still look beautiful. I see no outages. I hope to learn how to fix/replace bulbs or??They are hanging around our dining room area where we have had lights for years, to brighten up the gloomy days with just a bit of twinkle.They are lights for all seasons!Thank you!

I love the lights themselves. They’re a little confusing to attach to each other and get them to be able to be used with one controller etc. still haven’t figured that out. However, the strands are very long compared to traditional icicle lights, and it looks odd in my opinion.The colors and modes of the lights I would give 5 stars, all of the rest I would give 2-3 stars.All in all - I’m moderately happy with them, but I wouldn’t purchase them again or recommend them. Just off of personal preference.

I was happy with these lights when I first hung them up. They don't come with clips to hang them, so if you're comparing prices, just know you'll have to buy clips separately. They are the nice warm yellow light that I was looking for. I looked high and low on amazon for an LED icicle light that would remember the last mode you put it on. It seems like all the other LED lights on amazon have a bunch of different modes, but every time you turn them off, they start back at the first mode and you have to cycle through them to get the light to be steady. These were the only lights I could find that had a memory chip to remember what mode it was on. I wanted to be able to use it with my own light timer so this feature was important to me. The memory chip thing totally worked which I was happy with.After using them for one season, they are all rusted on the inside as pictured. They all still work, but I'm a little worried about the longevity of them because of this. I guess we'll see what happens next year!*the picture makes it look like some of the lights aren't working- they all are. I'm not sure why the picture looks like that.

After reading some of the negative reviews, I was a little tentative about ordering these. Glad I did -- the timer function is very handy. Arrived as promised and all bulbs intact. Some of the "icicles" are on the long side, and I was slightly worried they might tangle in windy weather. A few days of extremely windy weather proved my fears unfounded. They have a warm white light (not blue-ish at all), and were *much* easier to install than the white wire icicle lights I had previously used (which tangled and were heavier). NOTE: I have them hung on my front porch, under and away from my gutter, so they're not directly exposed to rain or snow; no idea how they'd perform if they were. I've had these up for about 2 weeks now with no noticeable issues; I'll update my review if anything changes for the worse.

The media could not be loaded.  Love these lights! They are bright, durable, and have multiple settings that can make your house dance around a little! The only problem you may have is twisting of the strings during a gusty windstorm. It happened to me but all I had to do was climb on my ladder and untwist the icycles. The twisting only happened on the parts of my roof that are sloped and did not happen on the fascia of the house. The brightness of these lights is awesome! I purchased three sets, plugged two of them in together (front) with their easy adapters located at the end of each string, and placed the other string down the driveway and plugged in seperately. If I had planned a little better, I could have plugged all of them as one string. All in all, I am very impressed.

These lights are nice and bright and look great. Allow about 30min to untangle the wires out of the box. Oye. I'm not sure they'll survive a Canadian prairie winter though as the wires are razor thin.

So disappointed by these! I hung them up less than a month ago and they're already shorting out/burning and filling with water! Save your money.

About 65 tiny, plastic zip ties per strand need to be cut in order to detach the lights from the wire used to hang them.The zip ties are on very tight, so it is extremely time consuming, and very difficult to do without cutting the electrical cord. I managed, but it was . It took at least 30 minutes per strand just to remove the packaging/zip ties1 of the 2 strands I bought had a manufacturing defect, where at the end, a bunch of extra strands were coming off the strand, and interwoven in a ball. Had to wrap them in a garbage bag and hide in the gutterAt the end they look decent, but would not recommend for all the hassle

I bought the multicoloured one and it’s beautiful except that I have to reset light mode each time and for my installation I have to climb a ladder to change the mode to the one I set before. It is very inconvenient when snow or rain and cold. The default mode cycles through every modes, I avoid it because this mode flashes rapidly like a discotheque or an ambulance, very annoying. So every night, I have to reset it again in rain and snow, As soon as the light is turned off, your setting is gone. I cannot return because there are shipping charge for almost half the price of the lights.

Pros: light weight, easy to install, looks really nice with certain display patterns.Cons: no memory function, power adapter is not water proof.The lights are a very warm white, almost yellow and although they are beautiful, they don't match the shade of warm white that the rest of my lights are. The deal breaker is the lights not remembering the selected pattern everytime you power them back on. Instead, it would scroll through each light pattern like a demo. There are several light patterns which are down right seizure inducing. This means you either accept the demo pattern or you need to go to the adapter and switch the display pattern everytime you power on the lights. I'm too lazy for that kind of hassle. Lastly, it's a really strange design decision to not make the power adapter waterproof for outdoor lights.
