This car charger/phone holder is pretty good! When I opened it, it was very easy to assemble. The holder clips on the air vent pretty securely. I freaking love this thing!It uses a USB-C wire to power it with (included). The mounts for the vents are a little strange and if you have an older vehicle like mine where the where vents move up and down the weight will drag them straight down but it is so adjustable that it still is at a good angle. Keep in mind if you have circle vents this will not work for you. This thing is awesome and you won't regret buying one.Let me point out the coolest thing, it comes with two kind of mounts, one is clip on, the other one is mount with hook. No matter which one you use, it perfectly fit my car!

I had originally received a faulty charger as the release mechanism failed after a few weeks/uses but reached out to their customer service and they were super helpful in shipping me a replacement. Right off the bat I can tell that the difference in the ease of the release/hold mechanism. The lights make the charger look really nice at night. Holds onto the air vent on my Ford fusion really well and love the 360 degree capability. I bought a fast charging adapter for the lighter AC port and a threaded 7 ft. USB C cord for charging in lie of the supplied USB-C cable. Works great! Can't beat the price and the quality is great.

Took a while to get to grab on tightly but once it got it fixed it looks wonderful! It holds the phone tight and doesn't fall off, it does charge the phone wireless. However I have noticed it charges faster when the phone is not in use. Basically when I use GPS while it's charging it seems to drain more energy then it is charging. But I'm still happy with it.

I do like this holder but unfortunately it won't charge with my phone case. I have to take my phone out of its case for the wireless charging to work. I don't feel like my case is any weird kind so I don't know why it won't charge through it. My last wireless charger (the arms broke off which is why I bought this one) was able to charge with my current case. I am disappointed.

IF it even connects to charge wirelessly, which it does not do about 70% of the time after just two month's use, it can barely keep up with the drain of running a GPS app like Waze or Google Maps. The clamps holding the phone are easy and convenient. The clamp and gimble which mount the "charging" assembly to the vent louver are clumsy and either too lose or too tight. I can't recommend what you should buy, but I can certainly recommend you NOT buy this!

I have had several vent phone mounts and this is by far the best.- fantastic fit for my galaxy phone- terrific charging time- great auto-lock and single-hand release- very strong vent mount (previous ones used to fall out)- cool abilility to quickly change angles- nice that it let's air through to both cool the phone and you- solid construction- great priceBottom line, highly recommended.

Better than wireless chargers at twice the price. Looks cool. Allow air flow even when mounted on vent. Fits securely and charges faster than I expected. Very easy to secure (just place the phone on the bottom support and it grasps any phone) and remove your phone (just squeeze the side buttons to open the grasping arms). My cellphone USB charger is not working all the time. This wireless bypass saves me from having to do an expensive repair or buy a new phone. I will need to buy a home version.

This is not automatic but it works. There are no vents to allow air to pass through from the A/C vents. The arms got stuck in the open position when I was attempting to put my iPhone on it so be sure to measure your phone if you have a case on it. I was able to get the arms to return to the close position and operating properly. When charging my phone the charger indicator LED on the back side fluctuates from red to blue but that may because of the magnets on the inside of my case so I use a separate cord when I need a faster charge
