Red Kap Men's Utility Uniform Shirt

Great work shirt. The ONLY thing my Tool & Die maker hubby didn't like is that the OUTER breast pocket had the little pen holder sewed it. I made quick work of it with a seam ripper!'all good wear well, holding up under wash & dry.

Started with a triple x and way to big, XL just about right. I’ll order a xxL next. Great quality!

This shirt stank to high heaven when I took it out of the bag. It smelled like the butyric acid smell you get with older plastic handled tools left in a toolbox in your trunk for years. Except, it was even more chemical-laden and much stronger. Wagering that the scent is a treatment to protect the fabric during manufacturing and shipping, but it was overpowering.Because of the smell, I wasn't willing to try the shirt on without washing it. I got a great deal on the shirt, so I washed it before I tried it on and figured if it didn't work out I wasn't out much if I could no longer return it. I washed it by itself with hot water, and thankfully that completely removed the stench. It came out smelling like clean laundry should smell. PHEW!And it turns out that the shirt fits well. I did find a stray thread here and there and I singed those and it looks perfect. I'm tall, so I appreciate the extra length of a work shirt and it's a classic, regular sort of fit that looks great on me.One other note - do not rely on the color in the photos for the navy blue. This is indeed the typical dark navy that is common for work shirts across all brands and it is not as light as the sample photos seem to show.

Redcap has won me as a loyal Dickies customer. These are just like those other shirts but less expensive for the same product.

Pretty nice shirt. If you are close to the next size up go with larger size, they run a little small.

I was buying this as cheaper alternative to the competition in the work shirt market. I was very impressed with the fit. These are long in the body to fully cover areas when crouching and lifting arms. It looks like they almost lifted the design from the other company, which is great because the price point on the other ones is too high for a work shirt now. I’m not buying these for fashion, okay well they do look pretty good though. I do like to look good on the job as I’m dealing with customers all the time. The twill is slightly thicker than the industrial shirt model, and it is a twill. I like this shirt even though it’s more expensive than the industrial shirt design, which I also really like. I love Red Kap!

Better than the competition. Never used Red Kap before, this made me a fan. Very well designed and constructed, all seams carefully done, material is thick yet supple, length is low enough to catch work-related goos and greases before they stain your trousers. COMFORTABLE! Heck, I'm seriously considering buying one as a pajama top! Red Kap prices are right on target, this shirt is perfect for my use, and I only regret not buying more while they were on sale...

I will be honest, the shirt is of good quality not great but good. From my experience with tailoring my own clothes, i can tell this shirt was rushed so the stitching isn't the best and there’s loose threads (i will have to do some restitching work).Other reviews talked about the shirt being a little long, from my experience i found that it fit me “well”I'm 5’9 270 pounds and found the 4xl isn't an actual 4xl more of a 3xl something i can deal with. I would appreciate if they would be truthful with their product and sizing. Lol I desperately need the shirt for work so ill just fix it instead of wasting gas on going to return it

Bought these for work. They fit well and aren't too heavy for Summer.
