Ribao CS2000 Bank Grade Coin Counter / Sorter / Packager

I purchased this product to help me roll a couple of thousand dollars in change that I had accumulated. Right out of the box the commercial coin counter worked great for the first 20 or 30 rolls; after that it needed a lot more attention than I expected. It jammed up a lot more than I ever thought it would. If you have even one coin that is not perfect the machine jams and you have remove all coins from the hopper and open up the entire michine to get the jam cleared. The dials are also useless; I had to manually adjust for each coin size by hand, so if you're not mechanical do not purchase this coin counter.This product is far from a commercial counter as I could not imagine bank or vending machine operator going through all of the trouble I had with this product. I could keep things moving if I was very careful making sure all coins were clean, no larger coins were in the hopper with smaller coins (jam) and I cleaned the entire machine (counting eye especially) after running each hopper full.Once I got the hang of manually adjusting for coin size, cleaning with alcohol after each hopper full and sorting out every single larger coin and all non perfect coins, the counter did save me some time but I don't know if it was worth what I paid for it. If I had to count & roll large amounts of coins for a living I certainly would have returned this product and purchased one that worked as advertised.

I bought the CS2000 to upgrade a Ribao CS-10 counter I have. I didn't realize that Ribao discontinued this model last year. I can get parts for the CS-10, but whoever is importing the copycat CS-2000 product isn't supporting it very well. If anyone has suggestions, I'm all ears.
